This position is responsible for the shipment and/or receiving of supplies and finished product. The Material Handler receives, moves, stores and issues materials/supplies within the warehouse, loading dock and storage areas. Will monitor the flow of material in stock to the manufacturing area. May also be responsible for data entry and compiling stock records, as well as light truck driving duties with company vehicles. After the Material Handler has confirmed the order they are running is properly hooked up to correct bin, the Material Handler will relay this information to the Lead Process Tech in that section. It is the responsibility of the Material Handler to ensure the efficient and cost effective operation and stewardship of the Goodwill plant to maximize revenue generation to support the mission of Goodwill.
