The Commercial Claims Coordinator is responsible for daily interactions with internal and external customers regarding potential product issues or questions. This position reports directly to the Sr. Claims Manager. The Commercial Claims Coordinator will ensure effective coordination between the Company and its customers with a high level of service and support. They must maintain positive business relationships, both internally and externally, to promote company goals. The position serves as the point of contact for filing manufacturing claims, the analysis of those claims for accuracy, completeness and eligibility, along with facilitating the resolution of claims to the customers' satisfaction. The position is responsible for the end to end claims processing, working to enter, investigate and close claims within the established claims processing guidelines.
Responsibilities
Resolve customer inquiries, including but not limited to; order status, product information, order processing, account status, sales programs, as well as product line knowledge.
Maintain small to medium accounts with low to medium complexity.
Process all customer orders received by EDI, telephone, fax, email and mail through order entry system (SAP) efficiently and error free.
Pull reports from the CRM and SAP Systems and share to a variety of internal and external customers including distributors, sales and business management.
Review delivery due list for all customer orders in all plants to align with delivery requests.
Collaborate with cross functional team members.
Answer customer inquiries via fax, phone, email and mail.
Check stock and provide availability dates to customers.
Provide freight quotes once processed through the Logistics Department.
Ship samples as required by customers for product specials.
Locate out-of-stock material for customers, when required, from other distributors.
Other duties as assigned.
Desired skills and experience
High school diploma required, AA or BA degree, preferred.
Minimum of three years of customer contact experience.
Working knowledge of computers / AS400 and SAP system, as well as CRM and Microsoft Office platform (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Proven, accurate data entry skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional departments with a positive attitude
Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, work instructions and software manuals.

What you'll do:

Optimize PowerBI reports for performance and scalability, ensuring data is accurate, accessible, and easily interpretable.
Automate and streamline data processes using PowerBI's data transformation capabilities (Power Query, DAX, Power FX).
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PowerBI data models, queries, and visualizations.
Integrate various data sources (e.g., SAP, SQL databases, Excel) into PowerBI for comprehensive, cross-functional reporting.

Qualifications:

Creating, modifying, and maintaining realistic material, manufacturing and procurement strategies for new product introductions/phase out products to support the NPI (new product introduction) process.
Working with the Master Scheduler to comprehend the monthly production/purchasing of targeted inventories: finished, semi-finished, and raw materials.
Responsibility for inventory levels related to specific product lines and/or assigned project work. Assist Supply Chain Analysts, Production Planners, and Master Schedulers in problem-solving and executing appropriate countermeasures for deviations from planned inventory levels.
Working with the Supply Chain Analysts and Production Planners to review inventory planning parameters to establish/maintain appropriate customer service driven safety stock/reorder point levels for finished goods based on processes specified in the materials planning playbook.
Updates plant SAP material records as required (lot size, safety stocks, reorder points, lead times, etc.).
Understands and ensures material availability and develops activities/processes that will lead to continually improving customer service, inventory, quality, and time-to-market measurements.
Monitor customer service metrics and analyze performance gaps related to assigned product groups.

Perform necessary managerial duties in the absence of the campus Director of Maintenance.
Manage machine repairs, as needed, to assist in the facilitation of production.
Utilizing the Tarkett CMMS system, MVP One, create preventive maintenance schedules, spare part inventories and maintain the OEM technical information library for existing and new equipment. As well as, removal of these items when decommissioning equipment.
In conjunction with the maintenance staff, evaluate equipment downtime through root cause analysis tools (4D) and create sustainable preventive / predictive systems to avoid or prevent reoccurring downtime.
Job Requirements:
Must perform his/her job functions while observing Tarkett safety standards and regulations. While performing the duties of this job, frequently exposed to risk of injury. Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to fumes and airborne particles.

Communicate with the project “team” to ensure a constant level of project awareness.
Collaborate with the controls engineer and/or controls technician, who is responsible for ensuring all schematics and/or backup programs of PLC's, HMI, camera systems, etc, are kept current and correct.
Other duties as directed by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Electrical Schooling or training and 3 years of electrical experience is a plus.
Must be able to use power tools and electrical test equipment.
Must be able to run conduit and pull wire.
Must be able to size starters, breakers and other electrical components.
Must have knowledge of AC and DC drives.
Must have a basic knowledge of PLC's.
Must be able to operate a lift truck, scissor lift and other motorized equipment.
Must be trained in and accountable for lock-out / tag-out policies and procedures.

Must be able to work without direct supervision.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Under limited supervision and much decision-making:
• Prepare structural design/construction plans, including notes and details, plan and profile sheets, and x-sections.
• Design and Analysis - Perform structural design and analysis for various building and infrastructure projects, including sports complexes and stadiums, sports surfaces, and institutional structures.
• Project Management: Manage and oversee projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Create and submit project permitting packages.
• Prepare construction cost estimates.
• Prepare technical reports, memos, and exhibits.
• Search, investigate, and select technical reference data pertinent to a project.
• Support the sales team in key pursuits including concept design and sales meetings with clients.
• Maintain positive communication with project managers, staff, clients, and subcontractors.
• Enforces company safety regulations, standard operating procedures, and quality standards.
• Works with customers, installation crews, sub-contractors, and Sales to resolve operational and technical issues and challenges.
• Reviews and approves sub-contractor invoices and assists the Project Manager in billing, design, and engineering subcontractor invoices and change orders.

• Execution Process: Track projects and communicate daily with Project Team, Customers, and Sales to ensure documents are assembled ahead of time before closing out so we can have a quick process to close out the projects.
• Completion Process: Ensure all projects are closed out in a timely fashion at or under budget with customers fully engaged with completion and punch-list complete.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year College or University; or technical school degree with an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Professional Engineering License (PE) with the ability for licensure reciprocity in neighboring jurisdictions preferred.
Five years previous experience with post tension structural design, layout, and vertical structural design is preferred but not required.
Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, ETABS, and STAAD.Pro.
