We are currently seeking a Test and Evaluation Engineer to support test engineering tasks associated with the development, qualification, and acceptance testing efforts for Expeditionary Electronic Warfare systems and sub systems..
+ Perform test engineering tasks throughout the lifecycle of tactical programs or R&D projects.

+ Develop, plan, and execute qualification tests for antennas optimization and docking station projects

+ Prepare and execute comprehensive test procedures and manage schedules for executing systems and/or subsystems testing operations

+ Perform analysis of test results and prepare comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance.

Required Education:

+ Bachelors degree in Engineering from an accredited university/college

Required Experience:

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in Engineering

+ RF Range testing experience is a plus.

+ Experience with Test Engineering execution

+ Ability to coordinate activities of a diverse team, predict and meet schedules, resolve disconnects

+ Excellent communication skills are essential, including the ability to understand the customer's needs and provide clear communication of proposed solutions to the customer.

+ Ability to travel

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

LMI is seeking a Senior Test and Evaluation (T&E) Engineer to support the U.S. Border Patrol's Program Management Office Directorate (PMOD) charged with planning, acquiring, and managing the deployment and operation of technology and capabilities to keep our borders safe. We are seeking for an energetic self-starter individual who is focused on practical and efficient solutions delivered by an interdisciplinary, collaborative team. The candidate will join our T&E Team and provide full-time support. This position applies for teleworking, but client may require in-person meetings in their location in Washington, D.C.

Responsibilities

The T&E Engineer will work with other systems engineers, program managers, and technical subject matter experts to plan, execute technology demonstrations, system development testing, operational testing, operational assessment, and other T&E related activities, as well as data analysis and reporting of test and evaluation events.

Specific responsibilities may include:

* Leading or supporting the planning, execution, data collection, and reporting of technology demonstrations, system acceptance tests, and other technology and/or systems evaluation and assessment efforts
* Leading or supporting the development of engineering plans and artifacts including:
* Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP)
* Testing and Evaluation Gate Reviews (TEGR)
* Test case / scenario designs
* Systems Engineering Plans (SEP)
* Functional Requirements Documents (FRD)
* Software Requirements Specifications (SRS)
* Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)

* Participating in or leading T&E IPTs and/or working groups
* Participating in program-level review boards, including engineering, configuration, risk, and test review boards
* Coordinating and tracking project activities and status and provide status reporting and recommendations to the customer
* Additional responsibilities include training and managing test team in test and evaluation activities and assisting in the development of policies and procedures designed to streamline test and evaluation activities

Qualifications

* Senior Level -10+ years of relevant experience and a STEM BS degree or 7 years relevant experience and a MS degree in systems engineering.
* Mid Level - 5-7 years of relevant experience and a STEM BS degree or 4 years relevant experience and a MS degree in systems engineering.
* Experience in developing, executing T&E strategy and plans in support of large, complex programs
* Knowledge of DHS or DoD acquisition life cycle framework and systems engineering life cycle (SELC) framework
* Knowledge of a broad spectrum of technical fields and engineering disciplines
* Strong problem-solving skills, organizational skills, communication skills, and leadership skills
* Flexible in adapting to change, and a strong desire to learn and acquire new skills.
* Self-motivated, proactive, independent performer who can perform well in a collaborative, team environment

+ 3+ years developing software towards production-level software/products & experience in system test, automation and root-cause analysis

+ Experience developing automated test sets and evaluation systems.

+ Experience defining requirements and design docs for new tools to increase testing capabilities

+ Experience in at least two of: Robotic systems (particularly autonomous systems), Data Science and Cloud infrastructure.

+ Experience with experimental design loops for integrated SW/HW systems

+ Familiarity in continuous build, integration, test and delivery systems.

**Description**

Apple's Test/QA team in the special projects group is looking for a software engineer to help with the implementation of the next generation of its testing frameworks for autonomous systems. We are looking to accelerate the development of the autonomous system by providing a workflow that can efficiently identify, close and monitor testing gaps. We also strive to ensure these new tools/tests are delivering measurable improvements. You would join an existing team with extensive experience in SPG and work closely with the developers and maintainers of the current system, used daily to run high volume of complex computational tests.
