Job Description
Dobbs Defense Solutions is seeking a Zero Trust Network Engineer Tester to support the client. This position will be responsible for directing on-site technical exchange meetings and providing test recommendations, development of timelines, and test requirements. The selected candidate will have experience in cloud service provider integration and interoperability testing, integration, and acceptance testing. The engineer tester will draft a developmental test and evaluation plan that details the scope, data collection strategy, data management, and data analysis methodology of the test event. Responsibilities also include developing test concept briefs with a clear traceability and providing a comprehensive understanding of the system, its requirements, and the strategy for testing and obtaining data for each requirement.
Duties

- Validate successful installation on infrastructure that fully represents the program's operational environment to execute regression tests
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- PhD+ and 4 years of experience in Information Technology related field or Cybersecurity
- Master's degree and 10 years of experience in Information Technology related field or Cybersecurity

The Role
You will work closely with our T&E team to identify and refine test requirements, articulate challenges, and develop test scenario solutions. You will be an integral contributor to the development of our overall T&E service offering and extension of our mission-specific configuration repository. You will assist our T&E team with cyber vulnerability testing and assessment to help develop resilient 4/5G network architectures.
The Cellular Network T&E test engineer responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Identifying physical/vCORE element configurations
- Identifying physical/vRAN element configurations
- Providing technical support for packet core technologies
- Developing and implementing test configurations in the distributed T&E network across multiple test sites
- Developing 4G/5G interface and protocol configuration, using REST APIs, to tailor network services as needed
- Conducting 3GPP conformance testing

- Creating and disseminating test results via reports and providing recommendations for follow-on actions

Qualifications
Education:
