2001

Lewis was named the NFL’s Defensive Player of the Year for his efforts, and the Ravens finished the year by beginning an unexpected postseason run that saw them earn the franchise’s first Super Bowl berth in January 2001.

2004

In the deal, Bisciotti had an option to purchase the remaining 51% for $325 million in 2004 from Art Modell.

2011

The team continued its strong play in 2011, when the Ravens won a division title and advanced to another AFC championship game, a close loss to the New England Patriots.

2012

In 2012 Harbaugh, along with quarterback Joe Flacco, notched an impressive first when they became the first coach and quarterback in NFL history to win a playoff game in each of their first five seasons.

2015

The Ravens were beset by injuries over the course of the 2015 season, which resulted in Baltimore’s falling off to a 5–11 record.

2018

He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2018.
