Requirements: Essential Functions The essential functions and duties of the Occupational Therapist are as follows: Direct Service - Provide one-on-one interactions as well as small group services which may involve elements of sensory regulation including sensory processing, proprioceptive, vestibular and tactile work in order to produce an adaptive response to increase functioning in the classroom. Should possess the clinical skills to effectively work with Teachers, Therapists and classroom support staff. * Driver - The employee must possess a valid California driver's license with a good driving record, proof of insurance and a vehicle for short trips between campuses. Physical Requirements: * Pushing and Pulling, Lifting - Must be able to lift and or push at least 35lbs. * Twisting and Turning - Due to the high activity of the program this position requires the individual to be able to physically bend, squat, reach over shoulders, reach over head, reach outward, kneel, sit, walk, run on normal, slippery, or uneven surfaces and stand. * Student Behaviors - Must be able to follow all Safety Care Procedures when needed (Training provided). * Office Work - This position requires the following office work: Keyboard, Mouse, Repetitive Motion of Hands. Salary Description $85,000-$100,00 per year
