The Department of Environmental Protection is seeking a hard-working and passionate individual dedicated to protecting the health and safety of Pennsylvania's citizens and the environment. This position's primary responsibilities include supporting the implementation and administration of the Drinking Water and Clean Water State Revolving Loan Fund programs. This position will take the lead in providing administrative services for these federal and state grant programs. These programs provide funding for planning, designing, and constructing wastewater, drinking water, stormwater, and nonpoint source projects. The employee is responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to prospective grantees and grant recipients on project administration, project management and financial requirements. The employee is also responsible for work activities associated with Disadvantage Business Enterprise solicitation efforts, Davis-Bacon wage rate compliance efforts as well as compiling information and completing inputs for the Drinking Water and Clean Water State Revolving Loan Fund capitalization grant applications.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

* Full-time employment.
* Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
* Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
* Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

* Three years of advanced clerical or para-professional work which included the collection, recording, compilation, and presentation of office management or program related information; or
* Any equivalent combination of experience and training. An Associate's Degree may be substituted for two years of required experience.
