Maintenance Inventory Clerk
White Castle Distributing, LLC - Louisville, KY
Non-exempt Position
The Maintenance Clerk/Coordinator organizes and manages the spare parts inventory; this includes the organization of repair manuals and the entire parts area.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* High School diploma or GED;
* Must be able to maintain a professional relationship with vendors;
* Computer knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office programs is required;
* Inventory control experience is preferred;
* Must be able to stand 50% and sit 50% with occasional bending and twisting;
* May need to wear hearing protection and safety glasses occasionally.
Essential Functions
* Organize parts inventories and related areas;
* Work with equipment vendors to develop spare parts inventories which allow for minimum interruptions to production;
* Prepare requisitions and order parts and supplies that meet food safety requirements for Maintenance Department;
* Maintain maintenance files in plant maintenance computer, including detailed service and parts manuals.
