Our Operations Shift Supervisor in Training reports to the Plant Director. Responsible for management and supervision of workshop personnel, production, labor discipline and quality, deploying workshop production tasks, conducting product cost control, effectively improving product quality and output.

Representative Duties:
1 Responsible to the Plant Manager, accepting assigned tasks
2 Learns all plant machinery and production processes
3 Assists in debugging and production tracking and technical support for difficult products
4 Participates in learning techniques and assisting in increasing yield, productivity and product quality
5 Trains on all workshop equipment and assisting in reasonable improvement and maintenance
6 Learns all technical and quality documents
7 Responsible for learning and and assisting first piece inspection process
8 Assists in updating monthly board
9 Learns workshop production techniques and handles a variety of problem issues
10 Responsible for learning and assisting in half-hour sampling check of production glass appearance, preventing large quantity defects
11 Conscientiously assists in implementing integrated management system documents
12 Stores wastes by categories

Qualifications:

Experience: 0 to 3 years manufacturing experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Education: Recent completion of a Bachelors Degree

Must be 18 years of age or older

•Conduct onboarding training for new employees
•Facilitate training for newly hired Operations Supervisors within the training center and donor center locations, where applicable
•Provide subject matter expertise on donor center procedures, center and equipment maintenance requirements, company training guidelines, donor flow, and donor monitoring
•Provide coaching and mentorship to trainees and peers
•Evaluate training programs for continuous improvement and initiate revisions as needed
•Create and revise training modules and exams to align with the training material
•Conduct training on Safety, Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures, internal document control program, and the Electronic Donor Management System (eDMS)
•Learn and maintain thorough familiarity and compliance with all state and federal regulations, Standard Operating Procedure Manual, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA), Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), and internal Company Procedures
•Maintain detailed knowledge of applicable Company and department policies and procedures while remaining agile and adaptable to new initiatives and practices.
•Educate Operations Supervisor Trainees on the process for routine operational and compliance reviews to ensure the center is following company policies and customer requirements as it applies to the donation process and donor flow.
•Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with trainees, donors, fellow employees, and vendors
•Ability to accept performance feedback in a professional manner
•Regular attendance and arriving on time for scheduled shifts and mandatory meetings
•Other duties as assigned


Qualifications



Associate's Degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's Degree preferred Minimum two (2) years of experience in a fast-paced, customer service-related industry required Ability to become certified as a Phlebotomist, DCT 2, Plasma Processor, and Designated Trainer within two (2) months of accepting the position Complete PCS repair training and obtain certification. within four (4) months of accepting position

Ability to obtain and maintain certification in the donor center production areas Proven ability to successfully ensure the transfer of training from the learning environment to the work environment Ability to create training material specific to individual training needs Ability to assist in the design process for interactive learning courses, classroom workshops, job aids, and other training materials Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and adhere to strict deadlines High level of attention to detail and analytical skills Effective time management and organization Proven ability to effectively facilitate and train in an environment that may be subject to outside distractions and session interruptions Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
