Transforming Age company history timeline

1961

Parkshore opened on the shores of Lake Washington in 1961.

1992

In 1992, the Transforming Age Foundation was established.

2007

In April 2007, PRCN began the groundbreaking to build a high-rise residential and health services community.

2009

Two years later in October 2009 the doors were opened at Skyline, a continuing care retirement community, which offers independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory support for the growing number of seniors living and relocating to the Seattle area.

2014

In 2014, Fred Lind Manor joined the family of communities as the board of directors and management were looking for a strong partner that can support Fred Lind Manor successfully continue its mission.

2017

In January of 2017, Transforming Age acquired eight month-to-month rental communities in the Minneapolis, Minnesota metropolitan area.

2018

In 2018 Transforming Age welcomed their latest affiliate, The Gardens at Juanita Bay, an assisted living community located adjacent to a Lake Washington waterfront park.

2019

In 2019, Transforming Age announced a partnership with Seismic, an apparel company making clothes fused with discreet robotic muscles to create Powered Clothing™. Together they opened Seismic’s first-ever brick-and-mortar boutique studio at Skyline.

2020

Ashlee obtained a Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University in 2020.

2021

In 2021, Transforming Age and SHAG (Sustainable Housing for Ageless Generations) announced their affiliation in a strategic move to further their shared goal of helping older adults sustain housing, essential services and social connection.

2022
