Our current owner, David Vigil, took over the business in 2002 and has been using his decades of experience to lead our company ever since. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TRANSMISSION MECHANIC

In this role, you use your expertise to service our customers' vehicles. When a customer brings in their car, you roadtest and use other diagnostic tools to determine the cause of the issue they're having. Then, you perform the necessary repairs, often removing and replacing transmissions.

You also execute general automotive services and repairs, including servicing brakes, performing tune-ups, and changing fluids. Our customers trust you to deliver excellent, efficient results every time, and you help us establish relationships that keep customers coming back. You're a team player who maintains a clean and safe shop and is always willing to help out your fellow mechanics. You get satisfaction from working with a great team and helping get our customers back on the road!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A TRANSMISSION MECHANIC

• Experience in an automotive repair shop
• Experience with transmissions and general auto repair
