• Assist and individually conduct surveys as a part of our biological sciences program. This includes a visual waterfowl survey and several vegetation monitoring surveys.
• Assist in the water management across the district. Help record keep for the Water Management Plan, survey water control structures, and manipulate water levels where possible. This will include maintenance on the structures to maintain functionality and may include debris removal.
• Assist the Land Manager on a large prairie reconstruction project. Will include vegetation surveys, assistance in site preparation (mowing, clearing), and seeding.
• Assist the Land Manager on active habitat management projects that include overseeing tree removal, prescribed fire, water management, haying or mowing, and grazing. These are all methods used to manage and maintain the tallgrass prairie.
• Work with District staff to help address invasive plant species infestations and complaints. Learn about early detection rapid response and invasive species management.
Marginal Duties
• Assist in wetland and prairie restorations in coordination with several partners (Ducks Unlimited, Pheasants Forever, Monarch Joint Venture). Restorations occur on newly acquired parcels and on existing Waterfowl Production Areas. Help review plans and learn about how to carry out a restoration program.
• Assists in educational outreach and education programs through the prairie Wetlands Learning Center. Helping with field trips, working with classes, and outreach events.

Assigned tasks list to include, but not limited to, repairs and preventive maintenance on tanks, vessels, piping systems and structural systems.
This position may require moderate supervision and follow-up.
Tasks also include layout and fabrication of new and replacement piping systems, as well as installation of valves and related piping equipment. Repairs and preventive maintenance to be performed in conformance with established standards. Assist in formulating preventive maintenance standards / work procedures while performing those duties and provide work order feedback on discrepancies noted in service delivery.
Must have working knowledge of the following topics; blueprint reading, ability to draw and interpret isometric diagrams, or be able to be certified to B31. 1 Pipe Welding Code as well as 6-G in stainless steel. Lays out, positions, and secures parts and assemblies according to specifications, using straightedge, combination square, calipers, and ruler.
Tack-welds or welds components and assemblies, using electric, gas, arc, or other welding equipment. Cuts workpiece, using powered saws, hand shears, or chipping knife. Melts lead bar, wire, or scrap to add lead to joint or to extrude melted scrap into reusable form. Installs or repairs equipment, such as lead pipes, valves, floors, and tank linings.
Observes tests on welded surfaces, such as hydrostatic, x-ray, and dimension tolerance to evaluate weld quality and conformance to specifications. Inspects grooves, angles, or gap allowances, using micrometer, caliper, and precision measuring instruments. Removes rough spots from work piece, using portable grinder, hand file, or scraper.
Welds components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. Heats, forms, and dresses metal parts, using hand tools, torch, or arc welding equipment. Ignites torch and adjusts valves, amperage, or voltage to obtain desired flame or arc.
Deciphers engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations. Develops templates and other work aids to hold and align parts. Identifies required equipment and welding method, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques.
Works from elevated areas such as ladders, platforms, scaffolding, etc. utilizing fall protection equipment as necessary to complete tasks. Must have the flexibility to work all shifts including holidays and weekends as demanded by the job. Perform other tasks, including but not limited to mechanical repairs and maintenance, as assigned by Supervisor
Ensures compliance with all company / customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
Achieve performance expectations set forth as part of performance appraisals to include employee development planning.
Communications with all team members to assist the development of short- and long-range planning in assist of the company's goals and objectives

Responsibilities
The Relationship Banker develops and cultivates long-term client relationships by providing insight, advice, and personalized financial solutions for their clients. Relationship Bankers are responsible for retaining and deepening existing client relationships through cross-selling, establishing new banking relationships, referring clients to product partners (e.g., Mortgage, Investments, Small Business, Treasury Management, Merchant Services, Private Banking, Wealth Management, Commercial), educating clients on digital solutions, providing account servicing and maintenance, effectively resolving client servicing issues, and processing. Licensing or registrations must be maintained current and in good standing in accordance with program guidelines. Positions may be based at a specific banking center or be a "Market" position that supports all banking centers in a defined market.
Relationship Banker
Demonstrates ability to handle all transactions, servicing needs and inquiries upon completion of required training.
Must achieve account opening goals, partner referrals, lending and credit card goals along with completing quality Client Financial Profiles.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
High School diploma or GED Equivalent
Minimum one year relationship-based client consultation and/or consultative sales experience (banking industry a plus)
Eligible to register with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) or currently NMLS registered.
Relationship Banker II
Experienced bankers who have successfully completed the requirements of a Relationship Banker, including all new hire training and the Relationship Banker Learning Path within defined timeframes, or bankers with existing experience in a similar role at another financial institution, including NMLS registered.
Demonstrates consultative sales skills and strong service levels to build and deepen client relationships.
Consistently meets or exceeds account opening and lending goals, credit card goals, partner referrals, and quality Client Financial Profiles.
May manage an assigned client portfolio to handle all consumer banking relationship needs.
Encouraged to participate in their community through service in a Community Organization, Not-for-Profit volunteer, Business-Related Networking groups, or similar organizations.
Completes Relationship Banker Development Program to demonstrate advanced proficiency in role.
