In this role, you will Accurately delivers all products by bottle, case, or pallet from the delivery truck to the customer's account by hand truck. Safely operate commercial vehicle and properly conduct a pre and post trip inspection, notating any vehicle defects. Make an average of 20 timely deliveries a day. May deliver to more accounts during high volume seasons. Verify receipt of correct order with the customer by checking product against invoice, obtains customer signature and payment if necessary, for goods received. Ensure physical security of truck at all times. Provide regular feedback to management in terms of route changes, concerns or areas of opportunity. Abide by the DOT hours of service rules and regulations for their license type. About the role We are seeking a courteous and friendly Transport Driver who can deliver excellent customer service consistently. Drivers must assist clients getting in and out of the vehicle and assist clients with a "through the door" service. Applicants must have a flexible work schedule, to accommodate the business need. About the role We are seeking a courteous and friendly Transport Driver who can deliver excellent customer service consistently. Drivers must assist clients getting in and out of the vehicle and assist clients with a "through the door" service. Applicants must have a flexible work schedule, to accommodate the business need. What you'll do Key Tasks and Responsibilities Drivers are responsible for pre-inspection checks on all vehicles they are driving. They must make sure all items or any other devices are stored away properly. Drivers must drive clients to and from destinations in a safe manner. Qualifications Education & Training High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferred but not required. Valid state driver's license or commercial driver's license. Valid CPR/First Aid card is preferred but not required. Drivers should be familiar with the driving region and the surrounding areas. Knowledge and Experience Experience driving corporate clients and paratransit vehicles are a plus. Must have a specific state driver's license of posted job location for at least five (5) years with no more than one (1) moving violation or one (1) at fault accident in the last three (3) years. Applicants must be familiar with using cellular phones and navigating around areas using a GPS. The Transport Driver plays a key role in our work of transporting clients to needed care within and outside our contracted area. They are often the only in-person representative of the company, providing excellent customer service to facility staff, clients and family members in a mental health setting. ****MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 5A-3P**** Essential Duties and Responsibilities Long- and short-distance driving, coordinating routes and schedules with dispatchers. Retrieve and secure clients and personal belongings for trip to destination facility. Maintain detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and company policies, submitting monthly to Field Supervisor. Ensure mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected promptly, reporting defects, accidents, and violations immediately. Perform daily maintenance of vehicle (refueling, cleaning, snacks/water, etc.) Interact with facility staff, clients, and family members in a professional manner. Address problems and create solutions, collaborating with Dispatcher and elevating problems to Field Supervisor when necessary. Enter data into Samsara system, maintain logs of calls, incidents, miles driven and more, submitting reports monthly to Field Supervisor. Work collaboratively with Director of Operations and Field Supervisors to update and maintain a list of facility contacts. Drive excellence by creating efficiencies that will reduce the arrival time for transports (under the 2-hour maximum). Report all overages to Field Supervisor. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 26 years or older. Excellent driving record. Valid driver's license. Proficient in English (oral and written); active listener. Tech-savvy, good typing skills, and experience with data entry. Ability to work nights, weekends with flexible hours as needed. A Day in the Life Delivering Products and Pickup: Deliver products to agencies and scheduled pickup sites. Pick up products from donors within the state of Oklahoma. Loading and unloading of trailer, using the lift gate. Clean the equipment and general dock area within the warehouse. Pre-Trip Inspection and Reporting: Conduct a pre-trip inspection of the tractor and trailer. Report any defects to the supervisor. Delivery Process: Deliver to agencies and drop products at predetermined sites for agency pickup. Check the delivered products against the pick ticket to ensure accuracy.
