Linehaul drivers benefit from consistent meet-and-turn routes, no-touch freight, and daily home time. Physical Requirements: Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and move loads that may weigh up to 50 pounds or more, often multiple times a day. Pushing and Pulling: Capability to push and pull products, sometimes using hand trucks or pallet jacks, often up to 2500 pounds with assistance. Standing and Walking: Frequent standing and walking around the vehicle and in and out of customer locations throughout the day. Bending, Kneeling, and Crouching: Regular bending, kneeling, or crouching for loading, unloading, and securing cargo. Endurance and Stamina: Ability to sit for long hours while driving and work extended shifts, sometimes up to 10-12 hours. Adaptability to Weather Conditions: Ability to work in various weather conditions, and extreme temperatures, as well as adjust driving and loading/unloading practices to ensure safety in these environments.
