Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements
Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy, BSPT, MSPT, or DPT (2003 or later must have MSPT or DPT)

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for providing scientific and clinical direction to the HLA clinical laboratory and reports to a designated member of the SQL/LSA senior leadership team and a Medical Director. This position is responsible for oversight of all licensed and unlicensed personnel in the HLA department and serves as a mentor and assists in the development of HLA Director in Training (DIT) candidates per ACHI. Responsible for providing technical interpretation of results, providing consultations with physicians, overseeing research projects, implementing new assays/assay troubleshooting, quality assurance, and reviewing SOPs. Assumes Clinical Consultant responsibilities and participates on site and system-level committees as assigned/required. This position will hold a faculty appointment with the University of Arizona Department of Pathology.
Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
PhD in in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science.

CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Performs all duties of MLT/MLS duties as defined by the department, at a high level of competency. Responsible for operational leadership and workflow oversight to the section/shift. 3. Monitors inventory and brings related issues forward for prompt resolution. Assists with cost analysis models.
4. Assists with basic personnel oversight including participation in selection, training, developing, and providing coaching under the direction of the Supervisor or appropriate Director. Assists in new employee orientation, training and competency. Provides input for competency and annual assessments for employees in appropriate time frames. In the absence of the supervisor or coordinator, this position provides overview support for the Anatomic pathology section. Performs all functions of AP Laboratory Technician. Also, may train employees on basic entry level tasks, performs QC/QA duties and serves as a resource. This is an evening/night shift position.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Requires a Bachelor's degree with Anatomic Pathology departmental-specific certification documentation within 6 months of hire date. OR associates degree with 1 year of grossing experience in clinical laboratory.
Must be willing to perform/cross train in all areas of the Anatomic Pathology section and have demonstrated competency in all aspects of work.

CityVet is looking for Veterinary Technician Assistants -- with a minimum of 1 year of experience -- to join our team! Although previous experience in a veterinary hospital is preferred, we do have entry-level positions available as well. We are willing to train the right candidate!
Responsibilities
The Veterinary Technician Assistant (TA) is responsible for maintaining excellent patient care and operational productivity by helping the Veterinary Technician (VT) leverage their time and efforts to meet the needs of our clients and patients. The Veterinary Technician Assistant works to relieve the Veterinary Technician from technical work and administrative detail to achieve greater levels of efficiency in daily practice. Veterinary Technician Assistants help facilitate and streamline the communication from the operating room to the front office staff and most importantly, the client.
Essential qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
At least 18 years of age at the time of hire
At least 1 year of veterinary industry experience
Understanding and ability to properly, and safely, restrain animals
Knowledgeable on veterinary medical terminology and medication
Lift 50 lbs to waist height
Frequent standing, bending, walking, lifting, carrying, and reaching
Strong organizational skills
Excellent communication & listening skills
Self-motivated & team-oriented
A day in the life:
Assists the Veterinary Technician (VT) in preparing patients for medical, surgical, and dental surgeries by assisting in the administration of anesthesia and properly restraining the patients as needed for examination and treatment.
Effectively partner with the Veterinarian and Veterinary Technician (VT) Teams to administer proper patient triage protocol based on the client and facilities' needs and capabilities in a fast-paced and effective manner.
Aid Veterinary Technicians (VT) with booked appointments, walk-ins, and work-ins, including recording observations/treatment plans in the patient file, and aid in the performance of medical treatments under doctor supervision.
Assist the Client Service Specialist team when needed
