  • Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching, alongside the General Manager, for all store employees

Mutual of America Financial Group trust manager assistant job description

  1. Daily review of the account balances at Mid Atlantic Trust Company (MATC) and analyze the financial activity on any plans representing a negative balance. Identify the root cause and work with the appropriate areas to correct so the plan is in balance.
  2. Based on documents received from Employer Records and Group Underwriting establish client profiles in both MATC and Net Suite. The creation of these profiles will enable remittances to be received and fee payments to be collected.
  3. Responsible for reviewing and validating the Omni fee feedback file generated on the 15th of the month when the Omni fee cycle is processed. Once the feedback file has been verified, review the invoices in Net Suite to ensure they have been populated correctly based on the data on feedback file. Upon review and approval release the invoices to the clients.
  4. When fee payment is due, release the payment file to Wells Fargo for collection of the income. Confirm receipt of funds into the Wells Fargo bank account and process the necessary journal entry in Net Suite. In a similar manner, monitor the bank account for any return items, which require correcting entries and collection of fees.
  5. Assist Field Offices with plan audits by providing documentation for information contained on the fund reports and forfeiture statements.
  6. Completes other duties as necessary to support and accomplish the goals and responsibilities of the department.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree.
  2. Knowledge in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  3. Knowledge of principles and processes of providing excellent customer service.
  4. Fingerprint for bonding required by Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
  5. Ability to work hybrid schedule - 3 days in office, 2 at home.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Financial Services or Retirement industry experience.
