GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This is job is at a Depot Level repair facility. Military aviation platform experience in the F/A-18, P-8, F-5, T-6,T-44,H-60 is a plus. EA-6B and/or T-44 experience is a must.
Maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures and structural components of moderate difficulty
Maintains and repairs aircraft components including, but not limited to, flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical components
Applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions
Applies required expertise in restoring equipment condition and or operation
Applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as blueprints or manufactures' manuals
Make necessary entries into aircraft logs and records
Disassembly, repair and assembly of aircraft structural components, such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls, and plumbing and hydraulic units, internal and external fuel cells, cockpits, landing gear and all related sub-assemblies
Veteran use of all associated hand tools and mechanic tools required
Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent
A&P license not required but a plus
Prefer experience from military fixed wing community (F/A-18, P-8, F-5, T-6,T-44,H-60) or civilian heavy structure background
Minimum five (5) years heavy structure U.S. Military or related FAA or civil aviation
Must be able to work in tight and enclosed spaces
Must have EA-6B and/or T-44 experience

Job overview and responsibilities
Senior Line Engineers are part of a service engineering team that provide 24/7 engineering technical support for United Airlines Worldwide fleet of operational aircraft to ensure the timely return to service. Provide engineering support for a wide range of aircraft systems, maintenance programs, engines as well as operational engineering functions. Studies, analyzes, and seeks solutions to problems related to the design, operation, maintenance, performance, modification, or repair of aircraft, and their components. Uses a structured, logical, and analytical approach in problem solving. Defines maintenance program, configuration, and serviceability criteria ensuring safe and legal operations. Analyzes and implements regulatory requirements. Evaluates the effects of modifications or new equipment on reliability and performance. Evaluates the benefits of the cost impact of a fleet decision to ensure an optimum balance of cost, asset utilization, quality, and reliability. Authors, designs, tests, and manages projects. Communicates with customers on technical issues, work scope recommendations, and failure investigations. As an integral member of the Apple Ads Sales team, the Associate Platform Specialist role is pivotal in driving client success on Apple's advertising platforms. You will work closely with Platform Specialists and Client Partners who act as our frontline sales team, and will collaborate with regional colleagues and cross‑functional partners across teams like marketing and measurement to gain and share valuable market insights. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $95,700 and $144,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Cut, bend, shape, and form metals for items that have numerous irregular angles, planes and curves with varying pitch and circumference

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent
A&P license not required but a plus
Prefer experience from military fixed wing and/or rotor community, including, but not limited to: F/A-18, P-8, F-5, T-6,T-44,H-60 variants or civilian heavy structures sheet metal/fastener R&R background.
Five (5) years relevant experience in heavy structures or military aviation background
Military installation DEPOT level maintenance experience and/or equivalent major MRO facility preferred.
