Ultrasound (US) Technologist, Sonographer 1 Performs standard and complex ultrasound examinations, including examinations of the abdomen, liver, renal, GYN and small parts scanning. 2 Performs computer work and required forms associated with patient exams, complications and/or quality improvement activities. Responsible for the quality assurance of the image (positioning/label/technique/network information) prior to transmission to the PACs (Picture archiving communication system) network. 3 Schedules exams in a manner so as to optimize scanner times while maintaining flexibility for emergency cases.
