1. Inspect hydraulic parts and components to detect leaks, damage and wear.

2. Read hydraulic and pneumatic equipment pressure gauges to detect abnormal oil pressure.

Employee performs a variety of unskilled to semi-skilled work as a member of a crew engaged in the maintenance and/or repair of water and sewer lines and pumping stations. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Working knowledge of the tools, materials and equipment used in the installation, replacement, maintenance and repair of utility lines, pumping stations, meters, and related equipment. Working knowledge of a variety of maintenance and manual methods and tasks involved in the installation, maintenance, repair and replacement of utility lines, pumping stations, meters, and appurtenances. Working knowledge and safe operation of the use of common hand and power tools. Position requires someone physically capable of lifting up to 75 pounds. Shift work is required.

Desired Education and Experience

Graduation from high school and related experience in mechanical, plumbing, utility construction and/or maintenance, and equipment operation experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. CDL, Grades C and B Distribution and/or Grades 1 and 2 Collections certifications highly preferred.

Description

We are looking for a self-motivated, detail oriented, multi-tasker to join our Engineering department as a Groundskeeper/General maintenance utility worker! We have a very beautiful hotel and are committed to keeping it that way and the idea candidate will be responsible for making sure that happens! The Groundskeeper will be responsible for keeping the outdoor areas of the hotel clean from debris, pressure washing sidewalks, cleaning windows, mainting foliage, weeding, blowing parking lot, mulching. Candidate may also be responsible for routine maintenance of facility. If you have experience in landscaping and a strong attention to detail, you may be the perfect fit for this job.
