What You’ll Do
- Monitor the utilities on site, utilizing cBMS and DeltaV control systems. In addition, you operate the systems and look after all utility equipment that supplies manufacturing. This entails, log readings on various plant equipment and investigating alarms.
- Support manufacturing and maintain utility systems to ensure manufacturing operations.
- Train others as needed on operation and maintenance of utility systems and serves as a system expert.
- Conducts proactive tours through the mechanical spaces to ensure no adverse events occur.
- As part of a GMP environment you ensure all activities are documented in our systems
- As an expert you continuously analyze all utilities systems, performs trends analysis and provides recommendations for program improvements and changes.

- Commensurate Military experience
- Capable to work a 12-hour shift, both day and night shift and weekend work
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for up to 3 hours at a time is required.

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
- Maintain distribution equipment in multiple departments and buildings and is responsible for the complete maintenance and inspection on individual pieces of equipment.
- General building and facilities related activities
- Work in a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) environment and be familiar with automated equipment.
- Lubricate, maintain and evaluate equipment for proper adjustment.
- Diagnose and correct mechanical issues as well as to overhaul equipment using shop machinery.
- Perform preventive maintenance and general maintenance as required on production equipment and will lead Autonomous Maintenance events.
- Monitor and approve all maintenance data entries on an ongoing basis during the shift and perform handoffs before and after the shift with maintenance and production counterparts.
- Spend 90% of the time on the floor supporting production and will utilize available line time and resources to complete work during regular hours.
- Identify constant improvements while maintaining and improving preventative maintenance sheets and daily checklists with specific actionable information.
- This position will require flexibility with shift and work day assignment to support business need requirements and reduce overtime (e.g. one work schedule might be Sunday – Thursday).
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Acceptable attendance required.
- Meets standards in overall performance rating in most recent performance review.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience maintenance crafts
- Experience in repair and troubleshooting of HVAC and general building maintenance
- Excellent interpersonal skills required to closely interact with co-workers in and outside of the Maintenance Department

**Coke Florida is looking for a Utilities Mechanic to work out of our Orlando area office. This role will be 2-2-3 schedule working first shift.**
**Roles and Responsibilities:**
+ Ensure utility areas are kept reasonably clean and free of debris or clutter, 5s experience ideal.
+ Act as the "caretaker" for specialized ancillary support equipment, such as Ammonia compressors, air compressors, boilers, water treatment, ph systems, cooling towers and Utilities.
+ Perform routine Preventive Maintenance on boilers, ammonia compressors, air compressors, pumps, cooling towers, Water filtration, RO System and other assigned equipment. Generate and maintain the required documentation.
+ Install plumbing, mechanical, and/or electrical equipment such as; Filters, pumps, circuit panels, refrigeration, boilers, HVAC chillers, air compressors, motors, etc.,
+ Handle repairs and maintenance on equipment, as well as assigned work orders. Notification of appropriate personnel as needed. Create and maintain the necessary documentation of these repairs.
+ Maintain inventory to ensure adequate parts and supplies are on hand. Complete purchase requisitions for equipment and parts as needed.
+ Adhere to all SOPs, procedures, policies, and federal regulations in the operations of these facilities.
+ May assist in special projects and/or construction projects. Duties may include demolition, renovation, and new construction.
**For this role you will need:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent plus two (2) years of technical or vocational training.
+ Equivalent experience may be substituted for technical/vocational experience.
+ Florida License as a Plumbing, Electrical, or Refrigeration, or Operators License
+ 3- 6 years previous general maintenance and/or construction experience
+ GMP and ISO regulations knowledge
+ Ability to read blueprints. Good mechanical aptitude. Knowledge of general maintenance.
+ Skill in operating tools such as circular saw, table saw, power drill, welding machine, pipe threader, grinder, sander, pipe drain cleaner machine, router, or jig-saw.
+ Analyze and diagnose mechanical/electrical or refrigeration problems.
