SUMMARY

Highest Level Lab Technician has 3+ years technical education and experience. Completed higher level education and experience. Requires little if any technical training. Actively proposes and implements technical solutions. Self-directed and self-starter, excels in communication and teamwork.

REQUIREMENTS / DESIRED SKILLS

· Prepare and maintain system components and sub-assemblies such as boards, test cards, end point devices and mechanical assemblies with minimal assistance from a higher-level technician.

· Build systems with hardware and software following Customer specification configurations

· Read, understand, and follow test documentation

· Start and stop test execution (manual and automated)

· Diagnose a failure, record results and all required information with minimal assistance from a higher-level technician.

· SSD NVMe working knowledge, prep, diagnose failure, recovery, setup.

· Diagnose root cause component (FW, Test script, HW, SW, Tools)

· Assists in layout changes in the lab by rewiring configuration and assist in machine placements including attach leads with minimal assistance from a higher-level technician.

· Assist in volume equipment upgrades, testing and readiness tasks including lab space alterations, equipment allocation/placement with minimal assistance from a higher-level technician.

· Maintain and update execution platforms, debug platforms, software replication stations, database servers, PCs, etc. with minimal assistance from a higher-level technician.

· Working knowledge on Windows16, Win10 & Linux Ubuntu 18 and above.

· Scripting Support

o Create some basic batch/PowerShell/bash script files for feature enabling efforts, also run/edit/modify Python scripts for debug support with minimal assistance from a higher-level technician.

· Programing:

o Run and debug new automation scripts, modify or update as needed for new project enabling and debug efforts with minimal assistance from a higher-level technician.

o Team should maintain automation script knowledge of Python, AutoIt, Batch, PowerShell

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

· Debug failures and can adjust content and plans to get past obstructions to an issue minimization or passing test.

· Additional Technician Level Responsibilities

· New Platform/SSD Architecture:

o Develop understanding of new platforms and SSD architecture for new project features and hardware interactions

o Customer partners board/platform support and debug support with little-no documentation

o Enable 3rd Party Devices Support:

o Maintain proficiency on hardware manipulation, programing firmware and software installation, and hardware tools capabilities with little-no Customer documentation to enable specific silicon feature

o Self-proficient on latest OS available in the market:

o Navigate across multiple Operating System on market and enable debug tools for debug efforts

o Understand BIOS structure:

o Maintain understanding of BIOS structure and all supported system enumerated regions to be able to manipulate feature area specific strap values and region changes needed during enable/debug efforts

o Research & Development:

o Create of new voltage and temperature scripts for next project

o Research new software application tools for new technology test cases deployment

o Develop capability to verify actual 4K Streaming vs. caching screaming and tools that can be used in validation plan

§ Train additional Customer resources:

§ Train additional Customer resources outside of team (including Customer employees or non-supplier contractors) when required for new feature support.

o Provide training and information as needed to other Customer sites in support of project transfers or customer debug support

The RoleReporting to the Body Repair Technical Manager, and Body Repair Workshop Forman, to validate the body repair methodology for Lucid Motors.Work with the Technical Training, Body Repair R&D Technicians & Publications Team to document developed body repair methods.Identify and develop key measurable data points in repair methods that will be KPI requirements for Lucid's approved body shop network.Ensure design for repairability feedback is provided to the Body Repair R&D Technicians to be implemented in component design.Develop repair times for structural repair procedures during the repair validation process.Perform other related duties as assigned.Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet project deadlines.Comply with all Lucid safety rules, guidelines and standards.
Qualifications5 years minimum hands-on technician experience in the collision industry, OEM Structural Repair Certifications from instructor-led training from Tesla, Jaguar, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Audi, etc. would be advantageous. Ability to perform structural repairs utilizing various repair bench systems (Car-Bench is Primary, Celette, Car-O-Liner, Spanesi, and Global-Jig, as well as any other appropriate body shop equipment.Be able to explain and demonstrate best practice body repair techniques for all stages of the repair process.Aluminum MIG Welding / MIG Brazing experience.Aluminum Adhesive bonding experience.Aluminum Structural body structure repair experience.Valid Driver's License and a good driving record.Strong computer skills ( Word, Excel, PowerPoint ) Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs.Ability to travel as needed.Diagnostic software experience.

**The validation technician will be responsible for managing and performing metrology duties in full compliance with cGMP, safety, and other applicable standards.**
**Responsibilities:**

+ **Ensure required qualifications, calibration, and maintenance is performed in a timely fashion by working with vendors, Quality Assurance, and R&D management.**
