Job Description

Job Summary
Vendor Coordinator is responsible for the day to day review, approval, and documentation of repo assignments. They are the last line of defense to ensure all state and federal regulations are followed before assigning an account for repossession. This position reports directly to the manager servicing- vendor support. This role requires independent judgement and decisioning of accounts in compliance with state and federal repossession laws. Knowledge of all areas in collections and loss mitt s generally expected.

Job Duties
Reviews pre repossession accounts to ensure all legal requirements and Exeter policies are adhered to prior to repossession activities.Review reinstated accounts to ensure all documents have been submitted, signed by the customer, and account status is correct.Monitor repossession exception reporting identifying possible issues and recommending solutions at an account level detail.Other duties as assigned.

Education and Work Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent. Two (2) plus years of work-related experience (Collections/Repo).Experience in the finance or credit industry preferred.A working knowledge of automobile finance, collections, loan services, and/or specialty areas preferred.Proficiency in SHAW Collections and SHAW Retail preferred.Familiarity with indirect loan documentation, i.e. contracts, ancillary products, certificates, bankruptcies preferred.Database skills preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required.Strong analytical & problem-solving skills required, as well as the ability to utilize appropriate analysis, judgment, and logic.Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.Self-motivated with the ability to complete multiple tasks with minimal supervision.High attention to detail; able to methodically review the execution of procedures and identify issues.

staffing metrics to Senior Leadership. Serves as a super-user and technical expert for IS systems utilized by SSRS

Vendor Management, including but not limited to KRONOS and Lawson. Collaborates with Staffing Coordinators, SSRS,

HR, Supply Chain, and site Leadership. May travel to facilities, including off site vendor locations and attends meetings

related to vendor management and credentialing. Creates necessary forms and reports related to processing and tracking

vendor practitioner's credentials. Collaborates with Accounts Payable on payroll and billing rates. Collaborates in policies
and procedures pertaining to contracted labor.

*This is a Full Time Day Shift position located at our La Jolla Corporate Office with some remote work and occasional weekends.*

*Required Qualifications:*

* Bachelor's required but will consider Associate's with extensive experience in related field.
* Additional training in database management and design desirable.
* Must be proficient in Access, Lawson, and Excel.
* Ability to work with customers effectively in a sensitive and confidential environment. Highly organized and has a high attention to detail.
