Research Animal Resources at Johns Hopkins University's seeking a Veterinary Technician who will provide support in the animal husbandry clinical management of animal research. The veterinary technician will work with rodents and will be responsible for performing clinical rounds at multiple facilities, performing monitoring of ongoing cases, performing clinical treatments, and communicating with investigators regarding clinical cases and colony management. The veterinary technician may also be required to work in areas under quarantine for management of infectious diseases of rodents and will be required to use appropriate biosecurity practices when necessary.
