UES, Inc. has an opportunity for a Data-Scientist/Data-Visualization-Tool-Developer with skills in data analysis, automation of analysis, and development of visualization tools, to join our research team at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH. The candidate must be self-motivated and able to work cooperatively in diverse multi-disciplinary teams. Primary research responsibilities will be to work with researchers to build tools for automation of data reduction, analysis, and visualization. The ability to work with experimentalist in developing approaches for optimizing data collection within the parameter space of a given set of experiments is preferred. Experience in research environments, with automation of measurement tools/equipment, or in working with data coming from similar environments is a plus but not required.
Key responsibilities for this role include:

Requirements:
• M.S. or Ph.D. (within 3 months) in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

• Experienced in data analysis and ability to make visualization tools
• Machine learning experience with ability to implement support vector machines with active learning
• Must be self-motivated, with good interpersonal skills, and be adaptable to work within a diverse group and varying program objectives

What you'll do:

Leadership
