VOIP Network Engineer needed for a contract-to-hire opportunity with SOC's client to work in Kings Port, NY .

Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder who has resided in the U.S. for at least 3 years and has the ability to obtain a public trust clearance.

The position will be a W-2 employee of Federal Services and will not involve an independent contractor relationship with the company.
Responsibilities

* The VOIP Engineer to provide day-to-day technical support to Political Appointees, Senior Executives, their Administrative Assistants, and customers.

* Program and trouble shoot VOIP phone issues

* Resolve trouble tickets with Help-Desk team with end to end resolution

* Perform other duties that can arise in support of USMMA

Qualifications

* At least 3 years experience working with VOIP Call manager
* At least 3 years experience with Network and wireless technologies
* 1-3 years experience performing network cable pulls and network drops
* CCNA certification preferred

* VoIP Network Engineer will provide nationwide video conference operation and support services to 7 modes within the client

* Works as the primary integration specialist for Zoom Rooms, allowing Teams, Polycom, and Zoom to operate simultaneously in real time meetings

• Functional knowledge of core networking concepts required

• Working knowledge and experience in layer 2 switching protocols: VLAN, STP, and 802.1Q required

• 5+ years’ experience with switch translations, session management, session border controllers, SIP Lines/Trunks, and media gateways preferred

• 5+ years’ technical knowledge of PSTN, VoIP, T1/PRI, MPLS, and systems inter-connectivity preferred
