• Manage the receipt and tracking of control substances as well as the DEA biennial inspection.
• Assist microbiology lab when necessary & perform other relate duties such as maintaining laboratory cleanliness as assigned.
• Maintain safe work practices such as personal protective equipment (PPE), OSHA certifications and on the job safety training.
• Clean and replace silicon carbide and tungsten susceptors utilizing a basic wet chemistry procedure (Acid/Base neutralization).
• Operate Perkin-Elmer and Shimadzu spectrophotometers as well as other metrology tools for characterization of thin lms.
