JOB SUMMARY
The primary purpose of the CBW Loader is to start up, perform daily operation and shut down of the Continuous Botch Washer (CBW / Tunnel) to include press extractor, dryers, shuttle cart, conveyors, sling operation (clean side/ soil side) and the daily start up/ shut down of the small wash. The CBW Loader will assist the small wash operator in executing the daily schedule for production as assigned and provide a continuous flow of clean processed linen to make shipping requirements to service our customers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible and accountable for the daily operation of the CBW system.• (He/ She) must be able to successfully start up and-place into operation daily the CBW(s) to include the press extractor (s), lifts, transfer conveyor (s), dryers, and other logistical equipment associated with the tunnels to Include the ability to operatethe E-Tech soil and clean rail system to tag bags and transfer goods .• Responsible for the removal and relocation of any sling load dropped or routed to the incorrect destination.• Load up to 145 pounds of laundry over a 2-minute period onto a conveyor belt. {6-7 15 pound handfuls every 15-20 seconds)• Identify several different classifications of laundry (i.e. towels, sheets, blankets, etc.• Input single digit codes onto a keypad to identify customers and laundry type with minimal errors.
• Responsible and accountable for the routine daily maintenance of the CBW tunnel equipment to include but not limited to power washing around the floor area of the tunnel, press, and lifts. Cleaning all filters daily and cleaning off of the mezzanine.• Responsible for the re-elevation of any wet / damp loads prior to (his / her) shift ending.
