What we are looking for

SCS Engineers is looking for an entry-level industrial wastewater engineer for our Liquids Management Group, focusing on industrial wastewater and landfill leachate treatment design and construction. We will also offer opportunities to strengthen your technical, managerial and leadership skills through training and mentoring while working with a supportive, driven team.

How you can make an impact as an Industrial Wastewater Engineer

* Collect samples from hazardous and non-hazardous sites, including: soil, air, surface water, groundwater, and landfill gas.
* Oversee drilling activities involving, monitoring and well installation, borehole logging, well development, and sampling.
* Conduct and document construction quality assurance observations to ensure compliance with construction documents.
* Complete quality control reviews on all work product (reports, design plans, design calculations, data, etc.) prior to submission.
* Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and clients as directed.
* Coordinate with CAD drafters for design plans/figures or uses AutoCAD for basic design plans/ figures.
* Prepare permit applications and/or regulatory agency submittals and responses with supporting documentation as requested.
* Prepare calculations for reports and in support of design documents as requested.

Qualifications

* Bachelors of Science degree in Civil, Environmental or Geotechnical Engineering obtained by June 2023 required.
* Minimum of 3 months of relevant wastewater, solid waste, environmental and/or engineering internship, work and/or research experience required.
* Engineer-in-Training (EIT) preferred.
* Valid Driver's License with a driving record in good standing required.

Our client is seeking a Wastewater Process Engineer for our client's facility in Athens GA for a Direct Hire position in a renewables manufacturing environment. Those with 5-10 years' experience in Wastewater Process Improvement, and operational analysis to include maintenance activities and auditing on a regular basis to improve overall sanitary operations.
+ Experience with Food, Bio, or Chemical Manufacturing processes

+ 3-5 years with Wastewater systems, design/development, or modification recommendations

+ BS Degree in an Engineering Discipline

**Key Responsibilities** :

+ Directly participates in the design, development, and creation of scope for engineering projects

+ Works to improve Wastewater process and design specification for sanitary systems throughout the facility including sewage systems, pumps, and power transference.

+ Identifies and proposes equipment and/or processing options to meet objectives within projects.

+ Works with the installation, commissioning, qualification, and verification for capital projects.

**Required Experience**

+ 5+ yrs experience in process improvements to increase capacity / efficiency.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills with direct reports, peers, and management.

+ Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

+ Related experience in Food, Beverage, Pharmaceutical, or biotech industries.

+ Knowledge of sanitary design standards for food or beverage manufacturing or similar industry; biotech, pharma, or med device.

Foth Infrastructure & Environment, LLC is currently seeking a team-focused, innovative, and results-oriented Project Industrial Wastewater Engineer working out of our Madison, WI, Green Bay, WI, Milwaukee, WI or Minneapolis, MN Office or remote location, who is looking for new learning experiences, opportunities for career growth, and a desire to contribute to our clients' success.

Primary Responsibilities:Design wastewater solutions for Foth clients using engineering principles Provide technical support on complex, multi-disciplined industrial wastewater and water projects including preparation of design calculations, drawings, and other technical work products as required Demonstrate knowledge in chemical, mechanical, and biological industrial wastewater treatment processes Maintain relationships with approval authorities and industry organizations Coordinate technical reports/feasibility studies, designs, and construction support activities with internal and external clients Act as the contact for regulators, clients, industry organizations, and legal affairs Support the efforts of Client Team Leaders by creating proposals and cultivating client relationships for both existing and potential clients Design industrial wastewater solutions for Foth clients using CAD principles Develop and continuously improve standard work for the industrial wastewater practice Build and facilitate teamwork among members/disciplines at all levels Maintain knowledge of existing and proposed regulations related to wastewater treatment systems and water quality

Required Qualifications:BS degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical or related engineering degree7+ years of experience with industrial wastewater treatment projects in the areas of feasibility, design, and/or construction management Previous experience monitoring detailed engineering plans that evaluate project performance Previous experience implementing chemical, mechanical, and biological wastewater treatment processes in a variety of industrial settings

Preferred Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience with an engineering consulting firm Previous experience with integrating complex engineering on wastewater projects Establishing working relationships with regulators CAD design experience

The base compensation listed for this job posting reflects a general range for the posted position. Base compensation will vary based on factors such as: years of experience, location, level of responsibility and licenses/certifications. In addition to base compensation, Foth members may be eligible to receive bonuses through our Earned Performance Incentive program. All employees are eligible for On-the-Spot bonuses. Exempt members are also eligible for either quarterly and/or annual bonuses.
