Usually, weatherization technicians don't need a college education. The most common degree for weatherization technicians is high school diploma with 41% graduates, with only 20% weatherization technician graduates earning associate degree. Weatherization technicians who decided to graduate from college often finish Adams State University or DeVry University. Some good skills to have in this position include caulking, crawl spaces and water heaters.
