Responsibilities:
- Responsible for day-to-day weaving operations area in terms of output, efficiency, quality assurance, safety, process improvement, personnel, maintenance and other related operations
- Plan department operations and manufacturing activities based on scheduled orders, delivery dates, product specifications and quantities, etc.
- Start machines, monitor their operations, and make any necessary adjustments, such as mounting attachments or tools onto production equipment
- Scans product during weaving for defects in yarn, design and loom setup. Pull products with weaving defects and remove other product defects as appropriate
- Stop machines when production is completed and conduct maintenance procedures, including lubricating the equipment and replacing worn components
- Inspect machines to fix problems or to determine whether repairs are needed, or notifies the maintenance department so they can address the issues
- Preforms other duties as directed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Previous weaving work experience
- Forklift skill helpful
- 3 years minimum verifiable supervision experience
