**THIS IS A CORPORATE POSITION**
The **Yard Switcher** will be expected to move trailers around the yard using a tractor-trailer. Additionally, the yard switcher will be expected work in the warehouse and be a backup driver for our delivery route drivers. This position requires a CDL-A .
Pay starts at $24/hour
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
+ Maneuver the vehicle safely at various speeds and/or in difficult situations including, but not limited to inclement weather and/or in areas of tight (limited) maneuvering.
+ Maintain all required records for compliance with state and federal regulations, including driver's logs, records of fuel purchases and mileage trip reports and ensure all required shipment documentation (manifest, invoices, delivery invoices or shipping orders) are available for inspection.
+ Ensuring the timely movement of trailers in and out of the docks on-site at the QCC
+ Performing pre- and post-shift equipment safety inspections
