Founded in 1995, 4Refuel pioneered the Mobile On-site Refuelling (MOR) industry in Canada and has built an unmatched market presence servicing over 900 cities across Canada, and delivering over 3 million unique fuelling transactions annually.
It all started in 1998 when Mark Jordan, a graduate of the Citadel, returned home to Charleston with a newfound passion for the fuel and convenience store industry after working for Road Ranger, based in Rockford, Illinois.
Jordan opened his first convenience store business in his native Charleston, the success of which led to a sale in 2005 to the Pantry.
Founded in 2008, Refuel is a premium retail fuel distribution and convenience store brand with 174 company operated locations in the South Carolina, North Carolina, Mississippi, Texas, and Arkansas markets.
4Refuel evolved further in June 2010 by making a partner of leading Canadian equity investment house, TorQuest Partners.
In 2013, 4Refuel partnered with Kelso & Company and Penske Corporation.
The Boeing-owned T1 test asset is a predecessor to the seven test aircraft Boeing is manufacturing under a 2018 contract award.
