Job Position Description:
This position plays a critical role in staff and patient safety by cleaning and disinfecting the facilities to the highest standards. The EVS Technician is the front line of defense for patients and the spread of disease. The Manager, Janitorial is responsible for overseeing day-to-day janitorial operations across multiple small to mid-sized client accounts within an assigned geographic area. This role ensures service excellence, operational efficiency, employee engagement, and strong client relationships for locations that do not have dedicated onsite management. The Area Manager serves as the primary liaison between ABM and clients, ensuring contractual compliance, quality service delivery, and a culture of safety and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily janitorial operations across multiple client sites, ensuring services meet or exceed contract requirements.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients; build and maintain strong professional relationships.

Manage and support frontline employees, leads, supervisors, and subcontractors as applicable.

Qualifications & Experience:
Experience in a service-based industry such as janitorial, facilities management, hospitality, sanitation, or property management.
Strong understanding of janitorial operations, staffing, and service delivery.
Previous experience in operations, account management, project management, or supervisory roles preferred.
Stable work history demonstrating reliability and career progression.
Ability to manage multiple sites, priorities, and client needs in a fast-paced environment.
Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Comfort working independently with minimal direct supervision.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn ABM systems and reporting tools.
Flexibility to work varied schedules, including some evenings, based on client needs.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally.
