Duties
During the course of their careers, Uniformed Division Officers carry out assignments in protection. Duties include:
Providing protection for The White House Complex, The Vice President's Residence, The Main Treasury Building and Annex, and foreign diplomatic missions and embassies in the Washington, D.C. area.
Traveling in support of the Presidential, Vice Presidential, and foreign heads of state/government missions.
Enforcing mandated protective responsibilities as described under Title 18, United States Code, Section 3056A.
Requirements
U.S. citizenship is required.
Possess a current valid U.S. driver's license.
Be at least age 20 and less than age 37 at the time you receive a conditional offer of employment, unless you have previous service in a Federal Civilian Law Enforcement position covered by special law enforcement or firefighter retirement provisions, including early or mandatory retirement. Applicants with veteran's preference must receive a conditional offer of employment prior to reaching age 40 to continue in the application process.
Carry and use a firearm. Maintaining firearm proficiency is also mandatory.
Possess uncorrected visual acuity of no worse than 20/100 binocular. Possess corrected visual acuity of 20/20 or better in each eye.

A Day in the life of Building Code Project Manager
Perform end to end services in support of clients and internal code consultants including but not limited to Application Approvals, Permit Issuance, Signoffs, Certificate of Occupancies, Violations, and Application Tracking
Prepare and submit proposals for assigned work, monitor project budgets and issue associated Change Orders as required.
Prepare and submit required filings to the appropriate local agencies, including but not limited to the DC Department of Buildings (DOB), Historic Preservation Office (HPO) and Historic Preservation Review Board (HPRB), District Department of Transportation (DDOT), DC Office of Zoning, and the Board of Zoning Adjustment (BZA). This role also involves managing and submitting filings for jurisdictions outside the DC Metro area; comprehensive training will be provided.
Work closely with internal teams and clients to develop project schedules and milestones
Maintain ongoing correspondence and communication with Clients, Design Consultants, Construction Managers, etc. to keep projects moving forward and to identify and eliminate roadblocks as needed
Perform site visits, field visits, and in-person meetings as required by individual clients and projects
Participate in client presentations, pitch meetings, and other functions as required
What you bring to the CodeGreen team
5+ years of experience with building permitting in the Washington, DC Metro area
Effective communication (both written and verbal) skills and high level of professionalism with both clients and internal team
Strong organization skills, a high level of attention-to-detail, and the ability to efficiently prioritize multiple tasks
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Teams
Thorough knowledge of permit application processes including submitting, filing, and turnaround times, certificates of occupancy and inspections of occupancy
Familiarity with local filing platforms for local such as TOPS, SGS, ACA, ProjectDox, etc.
Ability to travel to client sites and building departments in the region for in-person inspections, submissions and meetings, as required
Experience with application approval timing and strategizing on submissions

ELI is offering a two-year opportunity to join the Institute as a Research Associate . Research Associates at the Environmental Law Institute help grow dynamic initiatives in the environmental law and policy research space. The Research Associate position is an entry-level position that begins in Summer 2026 and ends in Summer 2028.
WHAT WOULD YOU BE DOING?
Each year, ELI hires college graduates to serve as Research Associates. These staff members work directly with the lawyers, policy experts, and scientists in the Research and Policy Division on projects addressing environmental and natural resource protection, climate, public health, environmental justice, and pollution prevention. A typical workload combines research, writing, and administration.
The Research and Policy Division publishes research studies and conducts a variety of training courses and workshops. Specific subject areas include air and water quality, climate change, renewable energy, hazardous waste and brownfields, green computing, international environmental policy and institutions, sustainable land use, biodiversity and species conservation, wetlands management, freshwater and ocean policy, environmental health, and environmental enforcement. Research Associates help coordinate and plan various professional events at ELI, including seminars, conferences, training courses, and workshops.

DC Cloud is responsible for the design, implementation, and operational support of the District's hybrid and multi-cloud environments, delivering core infrastructure services such as compute, storage, networking, mainframe, identity, observability, and automation platforms in support of 75+ DC Government agencies. DC Cloud enables agency self-service to mission-critical services through modern DevOps practices, infrastructure as code, and platform reliability engineering. The team supports virtual servers, databases, load balancing, backup systems, Active Directory, disaster recovery, and platform-as-a-service capabilities. The position reports to the Associate Chief Technology Officer (ACTO) for Infrastructure Services.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads the strategic direction and execution of DC Cloud's platform engineering and operations, including hybrid cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and infrastructure automation. Transportation Planner III; Multimodal (Bicycle/Pedestrian)

The Department of Transportation Planning of the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (COG) is seeking a Transportation Planner III to assist in professional-level planning activities that support metropolitan transportation planning. The Transportation Planner position, as part of the Multimodal Planning Team, will primarily play a role in facilitating regional coordination and communication of regional roadway safety and bicycle and pedestrian planning issues. The successful candidate will also have responsibilities including authoring technical and policy-oriented reports on metropolitan transportation issues, the collection and analysis of data for transportation planning studies, presenting to the Transportation Planning Board (TPB) and COG committees and subcommittees, and assisting with federal performance planning requirements. The position requires program management and data analysis skills, ability to establish and maintain relationships with partners, and the candidate should be familiar with general transportation planning issues, metropolitan transportation issues, and transportation performance measurement.
EXAMPLES OF WORK
Undertaking bicycle and pedestrian planning; serving as a subject matter expert on bicycle, pedestrian, and micro-mobility planning for the region; and acting as a regional resource for bicycle, pedestrian, and micro--mobility information.
Managing and/or supporting the preparation of metropolitan transportation planning studies such as the Regional Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan and update/tracking of the National Capital Trail Network. Example activities include producing plan content such as narrative, charts, and maps; developing project scopes and schedule; working with consultants and/or other TPB departments; and monitoring progress toward completion.
Managing and/or supporting the Street Smart program including developing annual grant funding applications; administering grants awarded by funding agencies and monitoring consultant progress on campaigns; collaborating with the Street Smart Advisory Group and the consultant to execute press events, media campaigns, public outreach activities, and new creatives; and coordinating with the Advisory Group on overall programmatic decisions.
Staffing and supporting the Bicycle and Pedestrian Subcommittee including developing agendas, conducting outreach to speakers, facilitating meetings, drafting meeting summaries, and coordinating meeting logistics and acting as a general liaison for regional transportation issues.
Supporting TPB-administered grant programs (ex. Transportation Land Use Connection and Transit Withing Reach). Example activities include evaluating program applications, participating in panel selection discussions, and assisting with project oversight.
Coordinating and working with federal, state, regional and local transportation agencies and organizations. Example activities include regularly interacting with and participating in other organizations' bicycle and pedestrian planning activities, representing the TPB's interests, and summarizing meeting discussions.
Authoring and presenting technical and policy-oriented information including major plan documents, memoranda, and technical reports for a variety of audiences including elected officials, technical experts, and the public.
Making oral and graphic presentations of metropolitan transportation data, issues, findings and recommendations to TPB and COG committees and subcommittees.
Facilitating the planning of key events such as symposiums or workshops on bicycle, pedestrian, and micro-mobility planning topics.
Other multimodal transportation planning duties, as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No direct staff supervisory responsibilities but may be involved in recruitment, supervising interns, and/or oversight of consultants to ensure the quality and timeliness of deliverables.

Master's degree in Transportation Planning, Urban Planning, Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related field and four (4) or more years of directly applicable work experience; OR
Bachelor's degree in Transportation Planning, Urban Planning, Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related field and six (6) or more years of directly applicable work experience

Duties and Responsibilities
Plans, organizes, analyzes, evaluates, and controls AI/ML project implementation through application of standard project management principles, practices, and techniques adapted for emerging technology environments.
