Principal Duties/Responsibilities: Performs routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in all designated areas. Ensures cleanliness and sanitation in restrooms, breakrooms, and cafeteria by regularly cleaning and restocking supplies. Brews coffee and tea and ensures machines are in clean and working order. Wipes down surfaces, including desks, tables, chairs, and other furniture, to maintain a tidy workspace. Collects and disposes of trash or food items, ensuring proper waste management and recycling practices are followed. Empties and cleans trash receptacles on a regular basis to maintain a hygienic environment. Monitors and addresses spills and stains promptly to prevent accidents and maintain a clean appearance. Performs floor care duties, such as mopping, waxing, and buffing, as required. Keeps track of cleaning and kitchen supplies and notify the appropriate personnel when supplies need to be replenished. Ensures that soap, paper towels, and other restroom essentials are stocked and readily available. Undertakes special cleaning projects as assigned, which may include deep cleaning carpets, windows, or other specific tasks. Principal Duties/Responsibilities: · Assembles wooden or cardboard containers or selects pre-assembled containers; inserts items into containers, using spacers, fillers, and protective padding; nails covers on wooden crates and/or binds containers; affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons; posts weights and shipping charges, and affixes postage. · Determines method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates. · Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages; examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications. · Gathers and delivers mail; routes items to departments. · Receives and logs items into computer system. · Maintains a clean working area. · Tracks inventory and maintains an accurate physical inventory by logging all transactions into the software system; tracks all packages not received or not logged into the system daily; tracks all packing slips and files daily. · Controls costs through recycling and other activities. · Tracks and locates package for customer. · May deliver packages on emergency basis; scan parts and prepares for the cleaning room; place parts in bins and pulls when ready for repair as needed; operate tier-lift truck or use handtruck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping-and-receiving platform to storage or work area; direct others in preparing outgoing and receiving incoming shipments. · May be required to train entry level employees. · Participates in ATS Culture Initiative; continually improves processes; quantitatively monitors processes. Suggests alternative items and engineered solutions to improve reliability. · Independently performs maintenance as per industry standards. · Complies with 5S and housekeeping standards. · May be required to setup and operate multiple machining operations including but not limited to: lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts. May perform welding tasks. · Studies and investigates technical and systems methods, tools, and innovations that can be implemented in ATS sites to improve maintenance practices and updates documentation. · Prepares input for cost analysis for new equipment, repair/rebuild proposals, cost savings and innovations as required. · Updates records and reviews CMMS history and analyzes data. · Provides technical contents of sales quotations and performs T&M duties as required. · Trains and coaches less proficient technician. Assumes project manager responsibilities as assigned. · Completes and conducts on-the-job training and technical self-study programs for career development. · Follows all safety related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions and guidelines. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, & Behaviors Required: · High School Graduate or equivalent (GED). · Associates degree with a Technical focus and 7 years of related experience in specific industry; or, 10 years of experience in specific industry. · Proficiency in predictive technologies including vibration analysis or laser interferometer operations, precision alignments, and maintenance of applicable process equipment. · Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems. Can analyze the problem, synthesize alternative solutions, and perform repairs. · Must be able to use hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate. · May be required to travel. · Six Sigma experience desired.
