Reflecting on my high school job at the local movie theater, where I earned minimum wage and enjoyed free popcorn and movies, I realize how far wages have come. Back then, a pay rate of $5.86 per hour felt sufficient, but in today’s economy, it’s hard to imagine living on such a low income.

This nostalgia leads me to wonder: who currently earns the least in Nevada?

In light of our recent research into the highest paying jobs in Nevada, we analyzed data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics to identify the lowest paying occupations in the state.

According to the latest findings, Gaming Dealers hold the position of the lowest paid workers in Nevada.

How We Determined the Lowest Paid Jobs in Nevada

We analyzed the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ dataset for all job classifications in Nevada to pinpoint those with the lowest average salaries.
