Alisal Union School District BUS DRIVER PRIMARY FUNCTION: Under general supervision, operate a school bus over designated routes transporting school children. DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE TO: Administrator of the area of assignment and/or designee DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Drive a bus daily, or as assigned over designated routes transporting children to and from school or on field trips. Conduct daily safety and operations inspection of assigned vehicle; recognize malfunctions in equipment and take appropriate action; report needed mechanical repair Maintain order among children on the bus and at bus stops; instruct students on safety regulations and policies related to passenger conduct. Follow district policies in dealing with the discipline of pupils and contact with parents, staff, and general public. Observe all rules and regulations of the district and state laws and regulations regarding transportation of pupils in a safe and efficient manner; also, responsible for keeping vehicle clean and fueled. Administer first aid and/or CPR as authorized under current standard certification. Maintain accurate records and prepare reports; including student count, required mileage and other logs as required. Attend and participate in staff meetings and in-service activities; attend workshops, conferences and classes to increase professional knowledge, including the areas of safety, first aid and related matters. Perform other related duties as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of: School bus transportation procedures and safe bus driving practices; State laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to school bus operations and pupil transportation; First Aid and CPR principles and practices. Ability to: Drive a school bus safely and efficiently; Maintain order among students on a school bus; Recognize malfunctions in equipment and take appropriate action; Learn designated bus routes, including stops and traffic hazards; Administer first aid and CPR; Keep clear and accurate records and reports; Work independently with limited supervision; Communicate in English clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contracted in the course of work. Experience: One year experience in transporting students or satisfactory completion of a formal classroom and behind-the-wheel training program by the California Highway Patrol for the operation of a school bus. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent License/Certificates Required: Possession of a valid and appropriate California Class A or B Motor Vehicle License, a California School Bus Drivers Certificate to drive all District school vehicles, a valid up-to-date Medical Examiner's Certificate, and must meet the First Aid requirements for school bus drivers. CPR certification within six (6) months of employment. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Prior school bus driving experience. Bilingual English/Spanish.
PHYSICAL EFFORT/WORK ENVIRONMENT: Good physical condition; Ability to hear sufficiently to be aware of traffic and road distractions/conditions and listen to children; Ability to see sufficiently to perform the duties of the position; Lift and assist students in an emergency situation; sit for long duration of time; Pass District physical examination which includes drug and alcohol screening. Random drug and alcohol testing is required.

As an Adaptive Physical Educator you will accelerate student outcomes in Grades K-12 by delivering designated physical education services aligned to each learner's individualized education plan (IEP) - on time, on schedule, and to standard. This role elevates instruction through evidence-based curriculum and community-based learning consistent with IEP intent; builds individualized schedules that advance service goals; and documents progress with rigorous, data-driven reporting.
‖ Responsibilities Include:
Implementing designated services as detailed in each student's IEP/ITP, meeting required weekly minutes within the specified service windows.
Developing and implementing standards-aligned, evidence-based curriculum consistent with the letter and intent of the IEP/ITP, including on-site and community-based instruction as monitored by the supervisor.
Developing and implementing individualized schedules that directly address each student's IEP/ITP goals related to designated services.
Consulting with the supervisor regarding student progress and the implementation of the IEP/ITP/PBIP, and supporting transition planning for mainstreaming/inclusion or post-secondary/adult program pathways.
Conducting ongoing evaluations of student needs; compiling IEPs/ITPs and Progress Reports; and reporting data to the supervisor, parent/caregiver, and district representative.
Recording and maintaining accurate, timely data within student programs, classroom records, and assigned data systems.
Assisting teachers and classroom staff in implementing related-service curriculum by modeling best practices and preparing materials.
Participating in IEP meetings as requested; presenting proposed goals and current levels using data-based evidence; and fielding goal-related questions.
Providing direct services through collaborative consultation with instructional and clinical teams.
Preparing individualized materials and adaptive equipment to maximize student access and engagement.
Facilitating student transitions to the least restrictive environment through coordinated planning and skill generalization.
Completing all required basic competency training and courses, including Supervision Training and other compliance modules.
Completing all staff development necessary to maintain the credentials required for this position.
Observing and training staff to implement related-service goals consistently across the school day.
Assisting and mentoring classroom staff at the supervisor's request while meeting all ongoing credentialing and professional development requirements.
Attending required meetings, including supervision sessions, all-staff meetings, annual planning, and action-team forums.
Adhering to organizational communication guidelines by using objective, professional language (NORMS) with colleagues and all stakeholders.

‖ Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree or higher in education or a closely related field of study.
Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining an adaptive physical educator (APE) credential.
Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a special education credential preferred.
Ability to obtain and maintain certification in company approved crisis management (PCM) training.
Prior experience working with adaptive physical education services, preferably in an alternative, special education and/or behavioral health program setting.
Prior experience and/or knowledge in special education services and compliance, particularly for students with autism related disabilities, emotional disturbance and/or behavioral disorders.
Prior experience and/or highly knowledgeable in working with students with individualized education plans (IEP's).
Well-versed in applied behavior analysis (ABA), positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS), effective teaching strategies, classroom management systems, data-based decision making, functional behavior analysis (FBA) and behavior intervention plans (BIP's).
Proficiency in providing motivation and having critical conversations with students that help move them toward realistic goals.
Ability to think and act quickly and calmly in an emergency and make independent decisions.
Advanced oral and written communication, organization, conflict resolution, multitasking, problem solving, and decision-making ability.
Knowledge of relevant technology including experience with instructional technology, Microsoft Office Suite, database entry and basic office equipment.

By focusing on improving diet quality, increasing physical activity, assuring safe food-handling practices, and strengthening food resource management skills, EFNEP supports families with children to make meaningful healthy lifestyle changes. EFNEP also partners with community stakeholders to make changes to the surrounding community context, known as "policy, system, and environmental change efforts" which result in deeper, long-term positive impact for even more youth and families. EFNEP is federally funded by the United States Department of Agriculture as part of a long-standing network of community-based nutrition education programs across the country.
Position Summary:
Join our statewide and national network of nutrition and health educators who receive high-quality training and hands-on support so that together we can make a positive difference in our communities.
This position's primary foci are to conduct, manage, and evaluate a nutrition education program to create a healthier school and community environment.
The Community Education Specialist 2 position will perform the full range of program implementation duties. Incumbent will coordinate, manage, and deliver nutrition education with community-based adults and/or youth in partnership with local public health and community organizations. This includes training, guiding, and supporting schoolteachers who volunteer to support health education in their classes by providing them with education, information and resources; evaluating program implementation; collecting and compiling enrollment information, assuring proper documentation, collecting evaluation data from teachers and participants; performing data entry for reporting; and writing reports in compliance with funding requirements.

Position Overview:
The University of California, Agriculture and Natural Resources (UC ANR) invites applications for an Associate Director/Academic Coordinator II with the UC ANR Policy Institute.
Location Headquarters: UC ANR, Davis, CA.
Purpose:
The Associate Director/Academic Coordinator II will provide statewide coordination and leadership for activities of the UC ANR Policy Institute. Specifically, this position will collaborate with the Director to develop new sources of funding including preparing grant applications and engaging with donors. This position will also communicate science-based research, pursue new opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration with researchers internal and external to UC ANR, oversee contracts and grants, build relationships with local, state, and federal policymakers, and serve as a resource for UC academics engaging in science-to-policy work.
The UC ANR Policy Institute (Policy Institute), housed within the University of California Agriculture and Natural Resources, will be the one-stop shop for policymakers to find and easily access scientists and cutting-edge research on issues critical to California. The Policy Institute will also connect affiliated researchers to work across specialty areas, serve as a resource for UC academics interested in expanding policy-relevant work and communications, and will establish a policy advisory board to help identify priority research areas, grant opportunities, and partnerships. The Policy Institute will also conduct original research and real-time economic analyses to remain relevant and responsive to timely, critical issues.
Alignment. As described in UC ANR's Vision 2040, California faces a complex, ever-changing regulatory environment in which science-based input and community engagement are needed to inform policy decisions and implementation. Now more than ever, solutions are needed to mitigate the impact of extreme weather events and other disasters, advance more efficient methods of agriculture production, further sustainable land stewardship, strengthen food systems, and build resiliency to future impacts of social, political, and ecological challenges. As these challenges increase in complexity so, too, do their solutions. Local, state, and federal policies and regulations must adapt and be responsive, taking into consideration current scientific and technological advances.
This position will help UC ANR achieve its mission of cultivating thriving communities, sustainable agriculture, resilient ecosystems, and economic prosperity in California through development and sharing of equitable and collaborative science-based solutions that have national and global impact. Through research, education, extension, and outreach, this position will contribute to each of UC ANR's Public Value Statements.
Clientele. The UC ANR Policy Institute's clientele is necessarily broad given that it conducts a wide variety of activities, from conducting original research, calculating real-time economic analyses, and communicating science with policymakers. The Associate Director/Academic Coordinator II will primarily work with UC researchers and local, state, and federal policymakers, as well as partner organizations and stakeholders.

Reporting Relationship:

A minimum of a Master's degree in agricultural, environmental, social sciences, or related field, with coursework or experience relevant to agricultural extension and public policy is required at the time of appointment. Doctoral degree is preferred.

UC trained and certified Master Gardener volunteers offer services and outreach to the general public in 53 California counties through local UCCE offices. This position will enhance UC Master Gardener Program effectiveness through the development and management of in person and online trainings. Product Manager - Integrated Distribution & Video Platforms
Seeking a Senior / Lead Product Manager to own integrated distribution initiatives across video platforms and third-party partners. This role is heavily focused on video player platforms, OTT/CTV distribution, and partner integrations, requiring strong product execution, stakeholder management, and Agile delivery experience within streaming or media environments.
Must-Have Qualifications
5+ years of Product Management or Technical Product Ownership experience
Experience in streaming, media, or entertainment platforms
Hands-on experience with video player technologies or playback platforms
Strong understanding of OTT, FAST, and CTV distribution models
Experience working with OEMs, app stores, or third-party distribution partners
Proven ability to manage metadata-driven content distribution
Strong experience working with Agile/Scrum teams, including backlog ownership and user story writing
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across internal and
Key Responsibilities
Integrated Video Player Ownership
Own the product roadmap and backlog for a white-label video player deployed across OEM and third-party platforms
Lead Agile delivery with a dedicated Scrum team (engineers, QA, program manager)
Drive feature development focused on playback quality, channel surfing, fast-forward/rewind, and overall user experience
Translate partner, business, and contractual requirements into clear user stories and prioritized delivery plans
Distribution & Platform Integrations
Own integrations across OTT, FAST, and CTV ecosystems, including OEM and streaming device platforms
Deliver and maintain Electronic Program Guide (EPG) integrations that drive users into owned applications
Manage metadata-driven linear feed distribution to third-party streaming applications
Partner & Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary product contact for external distribution partners
Collaborate closely with internal Business Development, Content, and Business Insights teams
Balance partner requests, contractual obligations, and internal priorities
Adjust communication style for technical, business, and partner-facing audiences
Product Execution & Delivery
Operate in a Scrum-based Agile environment using Jira and two-week sprints
Manage and evolve an existing backlog centered on integration-heavy initiatives
Ensure timely delivery of partner-driven features and platform commitments
