Position Overview

Position Overview
We are seeking a CSAT Integration Technician to support the hands-on integration of satellite subsystems and harness assemblies. This role is focused on precision electronics integration, cable and harness dressing, soldering, and mechanical fitment during satellite build activities. The CSAT Integration Technician will work closely with integration leads and engineers to identify issues during build, prevent damage during assembly, and ensure work is performed to documented procedures and quality standards.
This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to recognize when integration steps are being performed incorrectly, and the confidence to escalate issues before hardware is damaged.
This position is assigned to Shift 3: Friday-Sunday, 6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Depending on business needs, this role may also have opportunities on:
* Shift 1: Monday-Thursday, 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform satellite integration activities including electronics installation, harness dressing, and harness termination
* Terminate, route, dress, and secure wire harnesses per drawings, work instructions, and IPC standards
* Perform soldering, rework, and inspection on flight and non-flight hardware as required
* Integrate mechanical and electrical assemblies while ensuring no damage occurs during installation
* Identify integration issues, fitment conflicts, or process gaps and communicate them to integration leads and engineers
* Recognize when improper techniques or procedures could result in hardware damage and stop work when necessary
* Support troubleshooting of integration-related issues identified by the integration team
* Follow ESD, cleanliness, and aerospace quality standards at all times
* Document issues, discrepancies, and lessons learned during integration activities
* Collaborate closely with manufacturing engineering, quality, and test teams during CSAT build and integration
Qualifications
Education:
* High school diploma or GED required
* Technical certification, associate degree, or equivalent hands-on experience in electronics, aerospace, or manufacturing preferred
Experience:
* Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in electronics integration, aerospace manufacturing, or complex electromechanical assembly
* Hands-on experience with wire harness fabrication, termination, and dressing
* Experience soldering to IPC standards (IPC-A-610 / J-STD-001 preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working on satellites, spacecraft, or high-reliability aerospace systems
* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, harness drawings, and mechanical assembly drawings
* Experience identifying and preventing hardware damage during integration activities

Prior experience in painting or surface finishing is valued but not required to be highly technical.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform electronics integration, assembly, and installation of satellite electronic hardware
