Pay: $15.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time
Shift: 1st Shift
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday
Position Primary Duties:
Duties include but are not limited to general grounds clean-up and light snow and ice removal from property. Cleaning floors, restrooms, and windows in designated areas. Assisting in the on-site Laundry facilities. Collecting and emptying trash. Cleaning of the company fleet vehicles.
Requirements: The position requires a responsible person with ability to follow directions, pay attention to detail, and work independently. Must be at least 21 years of age. A High School diploma or G.E.D. is required, the ability to read, write, and communicate basic information in English.
Additional Requirements: The candidate must pass required Criminal Record History Clearance, FBI and Child Abuse History Clearance, as well as possess a valid PA driver's license and maintain a good driving record throughout employment. The candidate must pass a pre-employment Physical & Drug Screening (THC included) & possess the ability to attend and successfully complete all required trainings.

The Case Manager is responsible for safety and services to children and families in foster care. Tasks include facilitating team meetings, development of individualized service plans, coordination of individualized services across all settings, including the home, school, and community environment, and documentation of support related activities and services.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Case Managers shall possess a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, guidance and counseling, education, criminal justice, nursing, or related field human services field.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Ensures one's own training requirements are completed and up to date and reported to the Program Manager.
• Completes the intake process for new clients, obtaining the appropriate documentation for placement. facilitates and writes individualized service plans and ensures on-going coordination of the service plan.
• Orients new youth and families to SafeGuards programming.
• Maintains a caseload of 12 to 15 children and their foster families.
• Has face-to-face contact with each referred child and his/her foster family at least on a bi-weekly basis (may require extensive travel based on the individual needs of the child and family).
• Has telephone contact with each child's referring agency each week to provide updates and youth activities within the program.
• Transports assigned clients to and from home visits and other locations as necessary.
• Plans, arranges, and/or provides crisis intervention services as needed.
• Maintains client files according to standards and as required by policy and procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality and HIPAA standards for all assigned clients and families.
The Case Manager may need to assist in the implementation of a ½ hour Social Skills group.

Connect families to resources that help them reach their goals and address their needs

Qualifications:
Bachelor or four-year degree in early childhood education, social work, health, psychology or a related field is recommended (or equivalent degree outside of the US).
Supervised experience working with young children and/or parents is also recommended.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (e.g., nonjudgmental, objective, reflective, empathic, patient, tactful)
Ability to establish rapport with families and empower them by building on their strengths
Strong organizational and record keeping skills
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated (often in the field)

This service is designed to meet the specific mental health needs of the identified client as they relate to their diagnosis. Outpatient therapy includes psycho-educational activities/interventions designed to assist the client of the reduction of behavioral and emotional dysfunction. Responsibilities:
· Provides therapeutic interventions to the identified client in order to enhance and foster the client's optimal functioning
· Conducts intake assessments with client and family members utilizing appropriate intake materials and continually assesses client needs, service availability and appropriateness.
· Verifies client's insurance weekly to ensure insurance coverage and appropriate billing
· Provides individual and family sessions to the client and family member within the assigned office building
· Utilizes telehealth services in compliance with HIPPA
· Attends clinical supervision trainings as scheduled
· Responsible for maintaining and managing all clinical and clerical requirements of the patient's charts
· Participates in case consultation with Clinical Director for high risk or challenging cases

Now Hiring: After School Assistant
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Job Type: Part-time
Shift: Tuesday through Thursday 2:00pm to 5:00pm
The Children's Home of Reading Youth & Family Services is seeking a Part-Time After School Program Assistant for our Community Prevention Partnership Program.
Purpose:
The primary purpose of the After School Program Assistant is to deliver Kids Against Pressure (KAP) afterschool program to students in elementary schools in the Reading School District. KAP focuses on developing character education, learning conflict resolution, enhancing self-esteem and developing social skills to build positive peer relationships. KAP is delivered through after school sessions, summer KAP camp two-week sessions and approximately 4-6 Saturday enrichment days.
Part-time: approximately 10-15 hours a week during the school year, variable during Summer
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in human services, education, social work, health, psychology or a related field is recommended.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (e.g., nonjudgmental, objective, reflective, empathic, patient, tactful)
Ability to establish rapport with youth/students and empower them by building on their strengths
Strong organizational and record keeping skills
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
Computer skills; including web browsing, e-mail, Internet, and word-processing and data management
Driver's license - possibility of driving company 14 passenger van
Responsibilities:
Monitor the safety and wellbeing of students and employees during KAP sessions
Deliver KAP curriculum to classrooms in 5 elementary schools in the City of Reading
Provide KAP services during KAP 2-week Summer Day Camp experience for Reading School District elementary students
Work collaboratively with KAP Program Manager to develop calendar, lesson plans and learning objectives
Administer pre and post-tests
Assist KAP Program Manager in outreach, recruitment and enrollment of eligible students
Assist KAP Program Manager in maintaining accurate attendance records
Assist in ordering food and preparing snacks for students
Communication:
Ability to maintain relationships based on trust, support and growth with team colleagues, program participants and community members.
Maintains clear, effective, open, honest communication with both internal and external customers and colleagues.
Creates, maintains and supports a safe environment for open discussion.
Maintains confidentiality.

Clinician - Master's Level
Responsibilities:
Conducts in-person assessments, provides individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and offers essential behavioral management services.
Utilizes theoretical knowledge to develop treatment plans and implement interventions in real-time with clients.
Understands crisis situations and triggers. Assists in managing challenging behaviors and de-escalating conflicts.
Maintains accurate and up-to-date written and electronic health records (EHR) in accordance with program policies and professional standards of care.
Acts as the liaison between the program and family/community agencies including individuals such as Parents/Caregivers, Case Managers, County Social Workers, Teachers/Education Providers, and Probation Officers. The Clinician shall work with the family or care providers in the implementation of treatment plans and will maintain contacts with all important individuals in the client's life.
Serves as a client advocate.
Promotes a culture of compassion.
Maintains clients' rights and confidentiality.
Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning.
Demonstrates Professionalism. (Commitment to: Social Learning, Social Responsibility, Non-Violence, Growth and Change)
Supports and adheres to agency's mission, goals, and objectives.
Clinician - Master's Level
Minimum Requirements:
Master's degree from an accredited university in a clinical health discipline required.
Two (2) years verified experience in the mental health field. (Preferred)
At least three (3) written references that demonstrate past educational and/or employment experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Valid PA driver's license
All applicants must undergo pre-employment drug screening, which includes testing for marijuana, as well as background checks (including FBI, State and ChildLine clearances).
