The Field Representative primarily provides retail sales coverage and coverage of retail special projects for an assigned retail territory. They are responsible for representing ACOSTA and our principals through store coverage and executing objectives as set forth by the principal, Client Manager, Customer Manager or the District Manager to achieve superior in-store results in an assigned territory.
Minimum education and work experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior retail experience is preferred

Must be able to effectively communicate with others.
Must be able to give an effective sales presentation to store or department managers.
Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
Must have a valid driver's license and must be able to drive a car for extended period of time.
Must be available for occasional overnight travel.
Must be available for occasional weekend work (Demos, Food Shows, or Special Client Programs).
Must be willing and able to work in extremely cold conditions when required (i.e. refrigerated and freezer sections of retail stores).
Must be able to walk, stoop, kneel, reach, pull, grasp and stand on a daily basis. Must have good vision, dexterous use of both hands and be able to operate a calculator, fax machine, telephone, copier, hand truck, pallet jack, hammer, screwdriver, drill and case cutter.

Deliver 100% coverage every reporting cycle of assigned retail territory according to client frequency plans.
Ensure all client priorities and objectives are met. Effectively communicate client information to store personnel. Communicate to District Managers when not met and provide substantiation.
Ensure all client standards are maintained in assigned stores according to customer shelving guidelines and planograms/modulars. This includes rotating and cleaning product.
Achieve new item placement according to client speed to shelf guidelines as well as maintain 100% distribution on all existing items 100% of the time.
Meet or exceed sales quota objectives for store level selling programs.
Will answer all questions for all clients assigned and report any issues via PPC. Retail reporting must be accurate and transmitted on a daily basis.
Follow company policy in execution of work.
Responsible for replenishing shelves, displays, etc. as per client instructions.
Complete all assigned paperwork as it relates to job execution and performance and planning of assigned territory.
Communicate daily with Client manager, Customer Manager or District Manager via voicemail or email to ensure information being utilized and relayed is up to date and accurate. Communicate all store issues as quickly as possible with as much detail as can be provided.
Be available for client work withs when required as well as regional meetings.
Maintain professional conduct at all times according to ACOSTA guidelines. Do not compromise personal integrity or ACOSTA integrity in order to complete a client priority.
Develop relationships with store personnel that are conducive to achieving our client goals and objectives.
Participate in all client incentive contests, promotions, etc.
Be prepared to address store personnel as a group when the opportunity arises to communicate a specific client promotion, contest, etc.
Develop and execute personal Performance Agreement to ensure maximum achievement regarding Yearly Evaluations.

What you'll do
We're looking for a Systems Technical Support Engineer who will provide technical support for the installation, configuration and deployment of SAS software running on Java Application Servers.
As a Systems Technical Support Engineer, You will:
Provide first and second level support for external and internal customers
Prioritize, diagnose and manage customer reported problems including writing thorough, detailed problem descriptions
Prepare and review written documentation
Participate in installations of SAS software which utilize third party application servers
Record and manage confirmed software bugs
Provide product feedback to development and marketing
Build technical relationships with appropriate groups and individuals in development and with third party Java Runtime and application server providers
Report on and track feature requests and problems with third party vendors
Provide both formal and informal training to Technical Support staff on various application server topics, and perform other duties as assigne
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 0-2 years of relevant experience
Experience using Windows or UNIX operating system
Ability to resolve user questions through a combination of independent study, investigative programming, and collaborative efforts with team members

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Java.
Experience writing and debugging script files on Windows and UNIX.
