The Opportunity:
CACI is looking for an experienced Journeyman Electrician in support to our mission critical program in South Korea.
The Responsibilities:
Provide 24-hour 7-day quick reaction technical support for critical military communications installs and maintain low-voltage (480/277, 600 volts) and below (50/60 HZ) single and multi-phase power wiring.
Install feeder and branch circuits including conduit, service wire, fuse and breaker panels, switches, outlets, junction and outlet boxes, lighting fixtures, splices, connectors, and ground wiring for red and black installations
Use customer quality assurance procedures to ensure material used and workmanship meet the requirements of applicable customer specification, criteria, procedures and technical /safety standards
Respond to service calls and preventive maintenance inspections orally or in writing through computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) regarding malfunctioning/inoperable equipment
Provide technical assistance and support in electrical maintenance, repair, installation, troubleshooting and hands-on repairs
Support US Army systems on site whenever and wherever deployed
Available to deploy to other countries and/or theaters to perform quick reaction technical support to US forces worldwide military contingency missions and requirements in potentially hazardous work environments
Manage and participate in installing power and grounding for complex communication equipment, ensuring proper electrical connection and grounding
The Qualifications:
Vocational or High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years' experience leading to licensure as a Journeyman Electrician or equivalent license at a State level; or six years' experience in an equivalent Military Electrician training/certification
Subject matter expertise level capability of measuring electrical properties such as resistance, inductance, capacitance, electrical potential and current flow
Subject matter expertise level familiarity with provisions and applications of the National Electric Code and ability to select and install domestic and foreign materials and devices under the NEC
Fluent in English including ability to read, write and comprehend technical documentation, schematics and diagrams written under the ANSI standards
Liaison with local deployed and CONUS engineering departments to maintain immediate response to critical requirements resulting from analysis of current specification data on assigned systems
Able to maneuver in small spaces and lift up to 50lbs
Able to perform all duties to ensure timely, courteous and quality support to INSCOM or other customers

Job Description
An Ingalls First-Class Electrician also called a Electrical Journeyman, is responsible for the layout, installation and repair of shipboard cables, lighting, and electronic equipment, as well as the ships power. Electricians utilize an assortment of hand and power tools, a variety of test equipment along with a working knowledge of blue prints, drawings and schematics. Ingalls shipyard production areas at times involve working at different heights, confined spaces, different weather conditions as well as multiple shifts 24 hours a day. As with most every position in the shipyard, an Electrician may be required to work either day or night dependent upon the number of ships under construction at any one point in time. Ingalls stresses the practice of working safely in all situations with safety procedures meeting, and most times, exceeding industry standards.

Read and interpret marine drawings and/or blueprints utilizing both metric and standard measurements

Responsibilities
Process Technician
Process Technicians operate equipment in assigned areas of the plant and perform operations related activities per the work process. They utilize chemical manufacturing knowledge and experience to operate and troubleshoot the plant in a safe and efficient manner.
Primary Responsibilities and Key Skills
Routine operation of basic control systems and devices to monitor levels, temperatures, pressures and flow rates, and transfer of products.
Controlling, monitoring and adjustment of all control systems and manually operated equipment.

Candidate is responsible for using hand tools to assemble materials, connectors, brackets, and other equipment in preparation for installation on pole-lines or underground systems. This position frequently works aerially from a ladder, lift bucket, and pole-climbing tools to remove/replace/repair equipment. Successful candidate must climb utility poles and other structures. This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining tools/trucks. Successful candidate must maintain regular attendance and comply with all safety procedures, practices and requirements. Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in person, by radio, and by phone to various company personnel in the normal course of duties. WORK SCHEDULE
This full-time position works Monday through Friday and follows a Collective Bargaining Agreement with the IBEW Local 1464 Union that defines working hours for summer and winter. This position includes mandatory "Crew on Watch" duty as assigned. Overtime and holiday shifts are required in the event of an outage or emergency. This position is required to work outside in inclement weather at any time. The applicant who is chosen for this position must reside within 25 road miles of the reporting shop location.
