Montgomery Roth is a full-service design firm offering interior design, architecture, engineering, and landscape architecture. You will be an integral member of the design team working on all phases and aspects of our varied projects.
We are seeking a strong Architect with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Experience in commercial, hospitality, and residential design strongly preferred. Candidates are required to be proficient in AutoCAD and Revit. The ideal candidates must have strong communication, writing, design and production skills. They must be able to complete design/documentation and construction administration. As well as experience in building codes and their applications.
Required Experience:
Entry to Mid-Level position and applies to individuals with at least to 2 to 6 years' experience in the practice of architecture
Completion of accredited professional degree program with a bachelor's degree or master's degree in architecture, or equivalent in appropriate education and experience. Registered architect is a requirement
Capable of managing and or supervising project teams of architects, engineers, and designers of medium and large projects
Demonstrate a high degree of aptitude in critical, creative thinking associated with design and the design process
Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of architectural specifications, international building codes, life safety code and current ADA requirements
Knowledge of programming, planning, and building performance is beneficial

We are currently seeking an energetic, confident, and highly motivated ARCHITECTURAL JOB CAPTAIN to join the DAHLIN team in our Austin, TX office. Working under the guidance of a senior project team member, this person will be responsible for specific technical design aspects of an assigned major project, or several small projects, including the investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions that best meets the client's needs.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Provide professional architectural consultation from the end of Design Development through building permit submittal and Construction Administration.
Apply advanced architectural concepts and designs.
Review drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards.
Monitor budgets and schedules and maintain project documentation.
Submit reports and specifications as requested.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Proficient in building codes, understanding different product types and how the code determines how the buildings are constructed.

Strong skills and talent in SketchUp modeling, AutoCAD, and Revit/BIM; Adobe Design Suite experience preferred.
Experience working in construction phases of projects.
