COMMUNICATION

Requirements

May prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates and permit applications. Maintains good knowledge of governmental regulations, codes and ordinances and applies them to plans, as needed. May prepare CAD working drawings for interiors. Performs such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.
What You Will Contribute To The Team
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or equivalent technical discipline plus five years' experience, or Associate's degree plus a minimum of twelve years' progressive drafting and design experience, including at least four as a Designer, or HS diploma (or equivalent) plus a minimum of fifteen years progressive drafting and design experience, including at least seven as a Designer.

Coordinate, plan agenda, attend, and lead project design meetings
Maintain communication of project status and staff needs to team leadership

STANDARDS AND CODES
Oversee and direct research on products, code and ordinances to determine compliance and make recommendations and implement to project team
Lead and conduct periodic on-site observation of the work during construction to monitor conformance with the construction documents
Review all appropriate codes and implement on projects
Utilize freehand sketching, computer, and graphic resources to effectively and efficiently analyze and convey design concepts or solutions
Redline, review, and ensure quality of design documentation at all phases of design
Review all technical work for accuracy and recommend changes to clients as required
Maintain ongoing development of office standards and enforce through redlines
Apply knowledge of alternative construction materials and assemblies, as well as sustainable technology to project design documents
Edit Specifications for issuance with the contract documents
Review and approve shop drawings
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Maintain relationship with the client after project completion and provide follow-up as needed
Participate in continuing education seminars and professional activities to maintain current knowledge in the industry
Requirements
Desired Qualifications/Knowledge:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture
Licensed Architect. Ability to obtain licensure in the state of employment.
Ability to Travel between the Office and Client/Job Sites. Valid Drivers License and access to insured vehicle during business hours
Extensive knowledge of ArchitecturalDesign
Eight to ten years of Architectural experience
Advanced Proficiency in Revit ,BIM software, Photoshop
Understanding of Building code applications and ability to perform code studies
Understands land use regulatory process and can perform zoning research
Ability to interpret sketches, plans, specifications
Ability to analyze and solve drafting problems
Familiarity with various Building materials
Ability to work in a team environment to achieve desired results
Ability to coach and mentor staff
Knowledge of project specifications & CSI division formatting

This role supports daily production goals by designing cases in dental CAD software and collaborating with Production and Quality teams to ensure restorations are accurate, consistent, and on time.
Requirements:
Essential Functions
Read, interpret, and execute Doctor Rx and preferences to design restorations using 3Shape and/or Exocad.
Design restorations while accounting for adjacent and opposing dentition, margins, contacts, occlusion, anatomy, and emergence profiles.
Design across common case types, including:
Full contour single units
Copings
Inlays and onlays
Bridges (3-unit, 3-5 unit, and 6+ unit cases, including coping bridges)
Implant restorations (single implants and implant bridges)
Dentures
Partial frameworks
Full-arch restorations (required)
Ensure contacts and occlusion reflect doctor preferences, prescription instructions, and internal design guidelines.
Organize, prioritize, and manage workload to meet daily production deadlines.
Support digital workflows as needed.
Assist with downstream workflow tasks as needed (based on training matrix and department needs), such as:
Nesting and CAM coordination (ex: Millbox workflows)
Green state support and preparation steps
QC compliance and documentation
Maintain quality standards and participate in continuous improvement of design consistency and production outcomes.
Perform other duties as assigned based on department needs.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 2+ years of dental CAD design experience in a production environment (or equivalent demonstrated experience).
Required: Experience designing restorations in 3Shape and/or Exocad.
Required: Ability to design full-arch restorations.
Strong understanding of dental anatomy, smile design, occlusion, contacts, and restorative design principles.
Strong visual perception, attention to detail, and reading comprehension.

Preferred Qualifications

Under general supervision, this position creates truss placement plans, truss design drawings and truss quotes along with providing technical support to customers and sales representatives related to truss components for residential and commercial projects.
