Your Future Team Our Fresno office is seeking a Housing Specialist to support our local program in securing, furnishing and maintaining affordable housing options for young adults learning to live independently. Aspiranet's Transition Age Youth (TAY) programs offer assistance that is client-centered, trauma-informed, and reflective of best practice standards in the field. Your Impact Aspiranet's Transitional Aged Youth (TAY) services close a critical gap for youth who are preparing for their transition to exit the foster care system towards independent living. Serving youth ranging in age from 18-25, our multi-faceted approach ensures youth receive the guidance to support housing, employment, education, wellness, and other needs they may have for a successful transition. Your Skills and Duties * Under the direction of the Program Director, the Housing Specialist researches and then secures sufficient program resources (housing, furnishings and household supplies). * Assists in the establishment and monitoring of monthly payments inclusive of rent and utilities. * Completion of initial, ongoing, and exit apartment inspections which support the maintenance of housing standards. Education & Work Experience * AA degree or two years of experience working in a professional office handling petty cash, disbursement of funds and data entry. Proficient in Outlook, Excel. Must be organized and detail oriented. Experience with apartment rental market preferred. Good People skills. Licenses & Certifications * Meets all state required conditions of employment as set forth by funder and regulatory body; i.e. Fingerprint and Child Abuse Index Clearance, TB/Health Physical, valid CDL and clean driving record.
