Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Performs all work in a manner that conforms to safety and environmental policies of the Company. * Plans assembly procedures, following specifications. * Removes small quantities of metal to clean parts or to produce close fit between parts. * Drills, taps, or reams holes. * Align components, bolts, screws, or rivets them together. * Installs moving parts, such as shafts, levers, or bearings, and works them to test free movement. * Aligns and meshes gears in gearbox to assemble system of gears. * Sub-assemblies will include, but not be limited to transmissions, brakes, panel plates, and final assemblies. * Works from blueprints, production illustrations, process sheets, production test procedures, written and oral instructions where assembly methods and procedures are established. * This classification also requires team members to rotate into all areas of classification on a regular basis. * Assists or performs training of other personnel on job duties as directed by Supervisor * Performs other duties conducive to assuring optimum productivity within the Plant as the need arises, and other duties as assigned by Supervisor. * The listed Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to summarize generally the principal tasks of the job identified.
