Performs setups and adjustments of machinery for assembling metal chain parts
Interprets job specifications and reads blueprints.
Inspects products to verify conformance utilizing various measuring devices.
Assembles parts to product specifications per print.
Maintains record keeping for jobs and inventory.
Coordinates with others to achieve maximum throughput and meet department and company goals.
Ensures compliance with OSHA regulations and workplace safety regulations.
Operates material handling equipment including but not limited to forklifts, cranes and hoists.
Uses good judgment and works in a safe responsible manner. Other tasks/functions as assigned.
General knowledge and ability to safely use hand tools.
Other tasks, functions and projects as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered
1 - 2 years manufacturing related experience.
Ability to input to and retrieve from computer based software programs.
Able to perform moderately active work typical of a manufacturing plant environment. Examples include pushing, pulling, lifting, standing, bending, twisting.

Responsibilities
* The Assembly Technician performs complex and advanced fabrication and assembly of detailed parts, subassemblies, and final assemblies in a manufacturing environment as well as on customer aircraft.
* This includes adhesive bonded assemblies of metallic and nonmetallic composite materials. In addition to assembly, this position will be flexible to perform other aircraft manufacturing duties as required possibly include, but not limited to composite layup, painting, trim and drill, tool movement and working interdepartmentally to ensure product delivery.
* The level of work performed is moderately advanced to complex requiring crafts level skill and experience in the aerospace industry with an understanding of aircraft mechanics.
* Candidate must be willing and capable to review production and process documentation, production scheduling and planning and assist in expediting the flow of material, parts, and assemblies.
* A qualified candidate should be able to multi-task, take initiative and communicate clearly.
Minimum Requirements

Duties:
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS
1. Cabling, harnessing, PCB Repair, SMT.
2. Reading and math skills.
3. Basic knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes.
4. Able to read and interpret technical drawings, process documents, and other visual aids.
5. Able to resolve simple problems.
6. Able to perform work in a quality and timely manner.
7. Strong attention to detail.
8. General knowledge of screening making equipment and techniques.
9. Basic knowledge of printing materials.
10. Able to precisely measure.
Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
High school Diploma or equivalent
Must be able to use read calipers and gauges.

Pay Details: $17.00 per hour
