What You'll Get to Do:
Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Summary
Works within the Controls area to assemble products per specs, drawings and work instructions.
Position Duties
Essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:
* Works assembling connectors per Blue prints and verifying process.
* Setup and run wire marking machines per blue prints and verify quality
* Positions parts to be assembled by following blue prints and Standard Work Instructions.
* Works at station as member of assembly group assembling one or more specific parts to meet production requirements.
* Positions parts in specific opening and screws or bolts them in place.
* Solders/Welds parts by following schematic, blueprint, and Standard Work Instructions to assemble final unit.
* Verifies correct assembly of final unit.
* Ability to test unit with related test fixture.
* Other duties as assigned.
* Supports any other areas as/if required.
Qualifications/Experience
* Previous experience in a manufacturing / Assembly role.
* Soldering/Welding.
* High School diploma or GED.
* Must be able to read blue prints and/or schematic reading.
* Finger dexterity.
* Hand-eye coordination.
* Ability to verify function of unit per final blueprint
* Effective communication skills in English with the ability to read, speak, and understand English.

Conducts functional and continuity tests of wire harnesses and cable assemblies using friendly test fixtures
Use of a solder RoHS / Non-RoHS/ Leaded and lead-free solder connections.
Ability to evaluate any mechanical or material issues
Maintains a clean and safe work area
Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
