Job Summary
The primary responsibility of the Assembler I is assembling products in adherence to predetermined standards. This position involves the assembly of highly intricate components or equipment that demand strict tolerance thresholds. The Assembler I carefully reviews the assembly and production specifications to identify the required assembly, external product finish, and any specific options. The Assembler I assembles components by ensuring proper fitting of connections, fastening parts, and sub-assemblies per product specifications. This position also involves packaging, and palletizing components for shipment to customers. Operating under general supervision, the Assembler I is tasked with determining operation sequences where specifications may be limited or unavailable.
Essential Duties
Assembles assigned product parts in accordance with the Product Assembly Specifications (PAS) and safety regulations.
Performs timely quality checks in the work area according to established standards.
Utilizes high-quality measuring tools like go/no gauges and measuring tape for conducting quality inspections.
Identifies problems with products, machinery, or processes and reports them to the supervisor or maintenance department for resolution.
Monitors raw materials in the work cell and communicates low levels before runout occurs.
Required to meet daily production quotas, assembly cycle times, and tact times established by management.
Complies with all safety regulations and maintains organization and cleanliness of work area/site.
Supports organizational goals and upholds the importance of continuous improvement.
Performs minor rework as needed to precisely detail parts and components for correct assembly.
Potential work areas may include Injection Molding (Pads, Speedi, Small Parts), Whips, CVT, Conduit, VAP or Tooling assembly.
Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY:
This position is required to work cooperatively as part of a production team to manufacture and assemble high quality Glass, Doors, Frames, and Sub Components. Must follow the work orders and SOP's to meet daily safety, quality, productivity, and delivery targets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned)
Responsible for the assembly or production of component parts into sub-assemblies, assemblies, and completed units adhering to the assembly traveler/standard work instructions.
Jobs require the use of hand tools, electric tools, and pneumatic tools.
Maintains acceptable performance standards for assembly, production, quality, safety, and housekeeping.
All assembly operators are required to maintain their work area and common areas within the area in a clean and orderly condition by practicing 6-S as part of a plant-wide program.
Performs minor adjustments or setups to equipment or machines under supervision.
Inspects parts or completed units by using visual inspection, gages, tape measures, check fixtures, calipers, or other inspection equipment.
Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to their lead person or department supervisor
Must be able to follow SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) where provided as well as follow instructions from lead and supervisors
Cross training of team members and processes and assist with production as needed.

JOB SUMMARY
Use a variety of electronic equipment to assemble, test and pack units per established YCA procedures and customer order requirements. Must interface, communicate and work well with co-workers, Group Leaders and Managers.
DUTIES/RESULTS
Produce units based on an hourly production.
Determine type of unit, parts necessary and production procedures to be followed for the required unit model by reading shop orders, Tokochu and work tags.
Assemble instrument per established production procedures by using a variety of electric tools, gauges and hand tools. Accurately completes the needed data on all check sheets or any other required information.
Maintain high quality level by using proper assembly and testing techniques. Carry out duties under NYPS system making suggestions and learning all process.
Maintain a clean work area by continuous monitoring of assigned station.
Must have high level of dexterity to perform with accuracy in producing required quantities of product, with emphasis in quality.
Maintain and develop a team work environment
Must exhibit high quality soldering techniques and skills.
Promptly notify Group-leaders of quality or parts problems.
Must be flexible to cross train wherever needed.
Ability to use many different types of testing equipment to ensure the quality and accuracy of all units built.
