The Assembly 1 position in Wichita, KS, entails assembling products until they are completed to specifications and routing operations by performing the duties found under the responsibilities while ensuring tasks are completed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:
Utilize CNC Benders, Parflange, Deburring tool, Rotary saw, Hose Crimpers, Tape Measures, and various other hand tools for creating tubing and hose sub-assemblies as per customer specifications.
Follow the build instructions and testing reports meticulously to document product conformity.
Notify the lead or supervisor about defective materials or questionable conditions.
Keep the work area and equipment clean and orderly while adhering to safety regulations.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machines as needed.
Complete tasks according to manufacturing schedules with minimal supervision.
Adhere to Hyspeco Safety and Personnel Policies.
Comply with ISO 9001:2015 requirements outlined in Hyspeco's quality procedures and processes.
Qualifications:

The assembler position performs assembly operations to produce LPG cylinders and monitors cylinders to required specifications.
Responsibilities
Gets job instructions
Handles materials to and from workstation
Gets work station and equipment ready for production
Makes minor changes and adjustments to machinery and equipment such as changing tools and, notifies leads and supervision when process out of standard operating procedure
Loads and unloads conveyor
Maintains records such as oven temperature, cooling temperature and other records as required
Verifies tools and machinery are appropriate for operation
Counts, packages and/or crates and identifies parts and products on assembly lines
May work in groups or individually as assigned
Maintains quality standards
Reports all material shortages
Maintain work area using 6S Principles
Other duties as assigned

Job Duties, Responsibilities, Knowledge, Skills, and Ability
Read work orders and similar documentation to stage product for installation.
Be open minded in providing new solutions and instruction in bettering our product.
Understand mechanics such as wrenches, drills, sockets, screwdrivers, volt meters, ammeters, etc.
Understanding the use of fasteners (metric and SAE)
Diagnose, repair, and resolve installation related problems ranging from product failure or incompatibility to undesirable operational conditions such as heat, excess current draw, and intermittent faults.
Facilitate a reliable and productive workflow from staff in the installation bay. Demonstrate installation procedures and correctly convey best practices to other technicians when required.
Assist less experienced team members as needed to troubleshoot/repair installation issues.
Visual processing ability. Cognitive and analytical thinking ability.
Knowledge to read and apply OEM-style vehicle wiring schematics for diesel engines.
Knowledge of circuits and triggers including low voltage, normally open, normally closed, rest at state, rest at open, etc.
Requirements
Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
Prefer 2 years' experience or more in 12-volt electronics installation. On the Job Training for our Specific Application is provided.
