Education/Certification:
Associates or technical degree from an accredited technical or trade school, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
Previous manufacturing experience.
Proven experience as an Assembly Technician in the machine tool industry, diesel mechanics, aerospace maintenance or a related clean environment field.
Strong mechanical skills with appreciation of electrical assembly; the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions.
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Proficient in using various metrology devices, hand and power tools relevant to assembly tasks.

Responsibilities:
This role is a full-time position within our site where we have a team approach to manufacturing. Timely and Regular attendance is crucial to your success and the safety of the team.
There is mandatory overtime associated with the role depending upon the needs of the business because, with team-based manufacturing, production areas must be manned for worker safety and may continue beyond the end of a scheduled shift or may require additional overtime hours outside of normal shift schedule.
Check production schedule to determine the finished hose scheduled and table assignment.
Identify proper raw materials required for the product at the assigned finishing table by reviewing the Batch Card.
Check Automatic Counter for proper setting of specific hose lengths.
Depress pedal on cutter machine to activate the hose to be run.
Install proper fittings on expander machines, assemble hose and fittings together, depress foot pedal of expander machine, remove hose and repeat same process.
(a) Install male end of hose into the winding machine, coil, attach label, secure hose coil with straps or wire ties, visually inspect, assemble carton, put label on side of carton, and place hose coil in carton and/or on belt conveyor.
(b) Repeat procedure until carton is filled with the designated quantities of hose. Slide carton onto belt conveyor

Job Summary
The Assembler is responsible for producing and assembling air units and parts according to specifications. Under the direction of the Manager and/or Supervisor of Manufacturing Operations, assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to make subassemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous equipment. About the Role
The entry level Assembler, both light assembly and heavy assembly, is responsible for operating and maintaining machinery to assemble parts in the Containment department at our Pocahontas, Arkansas facility. Has working knowledge of all equipment and machinery within the department.
Assembles containment doors, partitions, and other products per product specifications.

Completes production reporting and quality paperwork accurately as required.
